Lol backlogs forever grows man laugh.gif
Yeah Mario is my most anticipated game at least for now, else I don't bother much till December when Xenoblade 2 comes out.
Atm busy playing FFXIV, endless grind. Save me money tho cuz sub only like 15 dollars less per month  tongue.gif
Zelda will keep you good for a month or more really, sooo good, and if you are in for more fun maybe can grab Splatoon 2 as well, taste what Nintendo shooter is all about.

Accessories would recommend tempered glass for the handheld, but make sure not too thick, if not gonna be tight when docked.
A pouch if you want to protect the handheld and ofc on the go purpose. And if you are like me who balik kampung often maybe wanna get travel for it.. or just throw everything in some other bag.

Else if you want a really good controller Switch Pro Controller really damn good weh. Personally recommend it but ofc expensive for a controller this one  doh.gif
Depends if you prefer tv mode or handheld mode. If just gonna play in bed not needed, but on tv, seems essential.
My PS4, Xbox 360 controller full of dust already, even use it for my PC. Very comfy and has large buttons and clicky, i like it.
Other options is usb mod, which makes other controller work on the switch or some other 3rd party controller which is cheaper.

thanks for sharing biggrin.gif think i'll just get that mayflash as i love using my xb1 convert edition controller.

what's the pricing for Pro Controller?

Price used to be at RM360 for one. Now at 330 it seems because less demand probably.

I bought mine with shipping from Amazon.jp at RM300, cheaper to import yourself than by locally but ofc on sale.
*
great. HK sell it at around SGD75 = RM220++
the mayflash is around USD 20 or USD 30 without amazon prime, which i think its a no brainer to get the pro controller instead. (and its hard to scout for that mayflash, found one in Aliexpress but OOS)

anyone use Decal from Decalgirl before? https://www.decalgirl.com/skins/nintendo-sw...=3&startfrom=41

they claimed their decal does not affect the console as dbrand. (different type of 3m adhesive used).

sai86 HK Switch owner here

Make sure you test it kau-kau on the spot at the shop, or test kau-kau at hotel make sure no problem before your flight back home, if got problem then can go exchange at HK Ninty Office

Don't expect the shops to sell at RRP, all shops are selling at inflated price.
*
noted. the prices and shop i refer to this website. https://www.price.com.hk/
quite good website to show the pricing and shop location/user review.

I used that last time as well, problem is, it's not WYSIWYG
some will tell you no stock, limited offer, need to buy bundle to get that price, extra T&C etc...
can use for reference, but don't depend on it

i bought mine from Goldenwell for HKD2580 back in April, seems still the same price now
reliable & reputable shop in SSP

woah, okay. thanks alot for the info. at least there's a recommended shop from fellow LYN biggrin.gif notworthy.gif

as a new user to nintendo family, i saw here and there about Amiibo but never really know its true function for compatible games.

So if the game support amiibo, we will get in-game items when we scan it? will it be permanent or 1 time item usage only? hmm.gif

yeah. and the main problem is worse - USB-C port on nintendo switch is soldered instead of linking by a ribbon.
hence, please plug in your charger with cautious biggrin.gif

this UK site do provide repair at 89.99 pound

QUOTE
NINTENDO SWITCH USB-C PORT REPLACEMENT
We are excited to introduce one of our repair services for Nintendo Switch and it’s called charging port replacement. So, Nintendo Switch uses USB-C port at the bottom of the console to charge it. It is not a standard port and has been probably manufactured only for this particular console. USB-C seems to be becoming the new standard of things USB, however, when it comes to repairability it is a bit trickier than usual.

The problem is that this particular USB-C port is soldered on Nintendo Switch circuit board using surface mount technology and cannot be replaced using manual soldering irons. The only way to reliably remove and replace the port is on either infrared or forced convection rework station. And this is mainly due to the fact that there are 2 rows of pins, soldered on circuit board behind each other, which makes it impossible to access using manual soldering iron.

Good news is that being a soldering laboratory we deal with these kind of procedures every single day. Once we finish with this fairly complicated repair Nintendo Switch gets assembled and cleaned. The console actually has a moving fan inside, which clogs up with dust and needs to be cleaned on regular basis. Whilst inside we also renew thermal paste, which helps to keep your Nintendo Switch cool.

When all done and dusted, this handheld marvel goes to our quality control geeks, where it gets tested for every single function, so we can make it leaves our premises in fully working order back to you.

So if you have a Nintendo Switch with damaged USB port, simply place an order on our website and we will get it sorted for you.
