Hi guys, whats your take on buying shared games?

I know this was raised before for Lazada and Shopee platform but I came across a seller on Carousell who claims that it is very safe to purchase shared game account as long as is ‘offline’.

Basically the seller will provide an account for you to link and you just download the game from the ‘redownload’ page and you will need to disable wifi before starting the game.

Find it odd because the game needs to ‘verify’ before starting with internet and only disable thenafter. Is this similar to the approach by sellers on Lazada and Shopee that puts the device and account at risk?

Normally what postal code to input when region is US?

Hi. Want to ask, switch is region free right? Does the physical game region makes any difference? Saw a whole lot of price different between regions.

I believe the seller is playing safe by sharing limited number of users for each accounts/games they bought. For now maybe it's still safe but once Nintendo play strict and has a way to track it then it's time the seller close his business and disappear, left with 10k users NS banned..

What card did you used, CIMB, Maybank or???
I put billing and mail address the same as well in USA but somehow on my payment didn't get through. Said something about "please check your payment settings" or "oops we cannot proceed for payment. Check your billing address blah blah". And some put hold on my account like Amazon. This is really breaking my hopes down.

new oled user here...never own a switch b4.. i only bought this for my 7 yrs old son coz he scored 1st place in his class..as a responsible parent, im doing tons of research now regarding the online download games but im  still unclear about the tax free zip code for usa region.
1) do i need to enter a full address which i have no idea. can i just simply create a fake address BUT with a correct zip code??
2)as for credit card, anyone knows if Citibank mastercard compatible as payment method??
3) does 256gb sdcard sufficient? my son likes to play minecraft and mc dungeons. so this 2 games is a must download.not planning to get the cartridge coz worried might get lost or accidentally damaged by him .

my intention is to connect switch to tv, then order a few games, mainly on sports activity, and perhaps some additional sports bundle
