Then when they did the test in Jan (in the review) it would have been accurate because that's the fw prior to s233?

If they can charge 0 (+10) to 100 ( incl the final 5 percent) in 1.5 hrs, mine can only charge 40-100 percent in 1.5 hrs , then mine appears to be abnormal, don't you think?

There is no such thing as from 1% to 100% in 1.5 hours. All of the 1st batch models only "fast" charge from 1% to full in 2 hours (plus-minus 5 minutes).

If you have instant cash, can get via kiosk or online. Generally, online is cheaper.

But if you are tight in cash flow, get 0% interest monthly installment. If from kiosk, the installment may have 10% extra charge. Hence, get from Lazada with 0% interest.

The advantages to get from kiosk are:
1) Can test drive to feel the experience in-hand, eg. Screen, sound, vibration, body and design, headphone jack quality, GPS, games, etc.
2) Can negotiate to get free casing and tempered glass.
3) Can choose other accessories on-the-spot.
4) Can evaluate the professionalism and reliability of seller in case of warranty (should you decide to send back to them).

I appreciate you posting a different source to dispute the article I posted earlier. The reviewer must be lying then. Either that or he was provided with a diff unit than what was sold over here.

Lenovo is also betting big on the charging tech in the Lenovo P2 as well. We were amazed to see how quickly the battery in the P2 charges from zero to 100 percent. It just took over one and half hour to completely charge from zero percent. Also, the company is competing with the OnePlus's Dash Charge technology with the Lenovo P2.

One thing for sure, the article simply made a mistake by stating the charging starts at zero.

P2 will always auto shutdown at 1%. It'll never go down all the way to zero. This is part of safety feature in the ROM.

Hence, starting to charge from zero is absolutely false. The same goes to 1.5 hours statement.

i have been looking high and low to change the P2 but could not find a replacement for my beloved P2 which serve all my needs

I'm having the touch screen issue, after factory reset, unsolved.
Last 2 line (bottom) untouched able, if hide the touch panel, can't show up by swipe up.
I think need to claim warranty...

Most of the user said is hardware failure on Lenovo app forum.

I suggest you to start backup and let the Authorized Service Centre diagnose the issue.

Hi guys, i have the touch screen issue on my p2. Somewhere near the power button level there are two rows horizontal line where touch doesn't respond at all. I was on 244. Reset doesn't fix it.

3 weeks already in service centre and their excuse is they don't hv the lcd replacement for grey. Initially offered to change to gold lcd (on my grey p2 body) but i declined. Until now they don't know when will the part be imported from other countries.

Just sharing my case.

I can't even get 1/2 of that battery time just mostly browsing Lowyat forums and reading some online reviews and articles with a few youtubes here and there.
