Hi guys, i have the touch screen issue on my p2. Somewhere near the power button level there are two rows horizontal line where touch doesn't respond at all. I was on 244. Reset doesn't fix it.

3 weeks already in service centre and their excuse is they don't hv the lcd replacement for grey. Initially offered to change to gold lcd (on my grey p2 body) but i declined. Until now they don't know when will the part be imported from other countries.

Just sharing my case.

After reading the forum, trying the built in diagnostic tool and called the cust service line and be told to send the device in for warranty, i just sent it in. Before sending it in, i reset the phone to delete my data and found out that the problem was still there. I didn't try hard reset as i was convinced it was hardware failure. 2 months is a long time but then again this is my first phone that i had to claim warranty. I am still not convinced 244 was the cause. i had the phone for almost 4 months. Maybe its just hardware failure due to qc.
