Can try AliExpress or Taobao apps... casings galore in these two shopping malls...

Just get the TPU gel case as temporary protection while searching for your ultimate casings... but, P2a42/P2c42 casings is hyper-limited... P2 is not flagships or famous series...P2 is under-dog series...LOL...

You can trace which apps are "quietly" auto-launch after fresh reboot using the Lenovo Companion app. Go-to Diagnostic -> System & Apps:



I was shock to see lots of "unnecessary" 3rd party apps auto-launch which eat up the 3.52GB available RAM...You can tap the "Apps running on start up" to know what are the apps so that you can take actions on those apps...

Is the new software running Nougat alrdy?

Out-of-the-box, P2 is running Mellow. After several OTAs, it'll be Nougat.

Walauweyyy... 32 start-up apps... That's going to take a hit to the 3.52GB available RAM... How much RAM balance now...? 1GB or less...?

I'll OTA to Nougat after 31st May later...

1.7 GB free RAM is more than enough... can load more browsing tabs... mine is around 2.3GB after fresh boot... luckily we have 4GB variant...

this worries me, does this happen to every batches?

My unit does NOT have this "hardware" issue... Looks like more to batches rather than production issue... To be on the safe side, you may order from Lazada coz it has 7 days refund/return policy...

Would prefer not to though, returning is such a hassle.

Some people on forum also reported audible chirping noise on low volume
