sometimes they promote on the fb page only.. but usually is those less than myr 1k devices

then again, if by doing this we get cheaper price without sacrificing d quality, not bad move.

let the wind carry'em by themselves.
slow process but pretty cost efficient

So far, those who received the latest 78MB OTA, don't have detrimental issues...

However, hard/factory reset is still a must if anything goes haywire after the OTA...So be prepared for it should you decided to proceed with Nougat OTA...

Just updated and did factory reset. If face any issues I will update here. I hope CPU use excess batt drain issue is resolved!

I've a feeling that the CPU Usage report is "fake" in Nougat. You may need to install 3rd party monitoring app like "BetterBatteryStats" below:

The app is not free but hunt around if you will...Also, it will work better for rooted devices...

Not yet coz some of the apps are not fully 100% compatible with Nougat...

The apps that I'm using is related to my work and being developed by independent programmer. Can't reveal the app name(s) though...

I tested, can't seem to duplicate it on my set. My roaming stayed on. I followed like the video steps. Anyway I did a factory reset cause battery life was not good after the update. After reset it was much better.

I'm on umobile so sometimes when no coverage it'll roam on maxis.

Alright... So after hard/factory reset, the roaming toggle stays activated.

But in his case, the roaming meaning it's connecting to network outside his local telco. Meaning, if we subscribe to UMobile or Maxis, if we travel to, say, Singapore, P2 should roaming with telco in Singapore automatically. So, his P2 disconnected the roaming feature which is a bug.

Nevertheless, this roaming disconnected issue applies to P2 owners who frequently traveling overseas.

Malaysia and other parts of the world = P2a42 = 32GB only.
PRC = P2c42 = 64GB (limited 4G bands support; no Google PlayStore).

If u don't mind to connect constantly to HSDPA network under DiGi/U-mobile, then, it's ur call...bear in mind that you should also consider to port-in/-out to other telco(s) in the future...

As far as I'm aware, the YouTube lip sync is pronounced in the UK/Three variant. Not just YouTube, other 3rd party streaming apps/services are also having lip sync issues as stated in the forum below:
P2 Lip Sync topic

My unit does not have the lip sync issue since day 1.

Also, there is common issue on the static interference noise in the head/earphone jack. This issue seems to be affecting worldwide units (on certain batches...) but the latest Nougat OTA has resolved this issue. Funny enough, my unit does not have this static noise interference.
