Today's battery usage :- https://photos.app.goo.gl/42rXiMt5tvdDOkrM2https://photos.app.goo.gl/qpw23NHtJj77XLev1First time I got over 11 hours SOT. Will try to take video with EIS via Google camera when I'm free, surprised that the videos turn out very smooth without shakiness. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Oct 6 2017, 09:03 PM

QUOTE(naturalfool @ Oct 12 2017, 10:43 AM) Just applied one on my new Redmi note 4 this morning. Quite pleased with the fit. Dunno about performance though. https://shopee.com.my/REDMI-NOTE-4-4X-SNAPD...40857.538202397Black only. some snapped pics. Pretty hard to see cos black on black. Same one I got from lowyat plaza at RM25 but they install for me. They put some oil as well at the sides to prevent the halo problem from happening. However the black parts are more like film rather than tempered glass so it is easier to scratch. Screen sensitivity is good as it is full adhesive. Btw I also found out the solution if one can't access google play store after flashing other roms. It seems like have to do a clean wipe before and after installing any updates eg. rom/playstore/kernel etc. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Oct 15 2017, 01:29 PM

QUOTE(naturalfool @ Oct 21 2017, 03:01 PM) ask DannyOP if he knows what minyak is used... Not sure what minyak could be minyak urut for all I know, but one thing is u gotta apply after a month or so because it dissipates. The shop sells it for rm8 a bottle. BTW today the Ninjaz store in SS2 PJ gaving away free tempered glass without any purchase... Don't know why they did that but I happily obliged, they even apply for me. QUOTE(exwan @ Oct 21 2017, 05:34 PM) I'll upgrade if its sd660 and 4k mah battery. Unlock, root and use custom rom. No gps issue. + u could get better camera experience with ported gcam and amazing sound experience with viper4android. Only downside for me is i myself could only get 7 hour sot max with custom rom. And the phone do get warm abit compared with miui. But, no more useless miui bloatware and feature that i hardly ever use in my phone. 7 hr SOT with how long standby time? Do you get better with stock rom? I can get more than 11 hrs SOT with about 30 hrs standby time. For me as long as it last till midnight is good enough, because I usually leave the phone to charge when I sleep. With the RN4 I still have a lot of reserve before midnight, not sure what to do with the leftover juice. It's almost too much battery life for my needs lol This post has been edited by DannyOP: Oct 22 2017, 10:53 AM

QUOTE(exwan @ Oct 22 2017, 06:38 PM) More than 24 hour standby time. But in stock i could get 11 hrs sot. If you prefer miui without bloatware can try Epic Rom, it's exactly that, with some customisations. I didn't bother to check SOT anymore as it's more than sufficient, sometimes I didn't charge until the next day.

QUOTE(syawal286 @ Oct 25 2017, 10:13 AM) How to disable/uninstall google drive without root? I can't disable it through settings, third party app also doesn't help. Google drive always showing insufficient phone storage available. My phone still have 16+ Gb free. The notification won't go away. MIUI forum and google forum can't find solution too. So i want to disable the app. If u wish to keep Miui without root can try installing Epic Rom, it's basically Miui 9 without bloatware. It doesn't have Google drive.
