So, here I am wondering which suitable casing to buy.... only to be pestered with this question : "Can I or can I not bring the my CPU into the airplane cabin?"
My previous CPU casing was badly damaged the last time, even with the box, polystyrenes and all~ front panel cracked, side dented,etc.... (I put the CPU in the airplane cargo along with my other luggages) Can anyone confirm with me, can passengers bring their CPUs into the cabin?and if anyone had experience about this please tell... do I need to buy special carrying equipments? thanxx

ive seen a kid carry an entire PC (without box etc, just case and all hardware inside) into the cabin on a MAS flight from KLIA to kuching.
ive also checked in my PC case (empty, with box styro etc) into the cargo with an MAS flight from Singapore to KL. came out fine...just some small dents on the box.
i think u better check if ur case dimensions will be allowed into the cabin or not.

i dun see y not.. It's just the people there have to been careful with your casing. If you travel a lot, ever think of goin SFF? small form factor casing which the casing is the shape of a small square box.
