Applied for my credit limit increase (with significantly increased salary) a few days ago.... And got rejected!!

Did one for MBB which was approved (10k increase).

Not sure if my PBB CL increase was rejected due to maximising my BTs. I got crazy high BTs with Aeon, MBB and PBB and was only applying for increases just so I could get even more BT. PBB is now my lowest CL (compared to MBB, CIMB, HSBC, HLB, SCB, Alliance, Aeon, Ambank and Citibank).

Will try my luck With Aeon tomorrow.

For as long as I remember, the PBB 0% BT promotion has been renewed repeatedly. Been doing it for years.

I applied 6 April 5pm...will report my experience.

1. Yes if supp is separate statement (this is for the standard 6%)

2. Supp holder can pay own statement

3. Must register principal only but supp spending will qualify and aggregate with principal. Only the principal will get the cashback

Wow just finished my 8 swipes. Booked family holiday on Air Asia and kiasu kiasu pay each ticket one by one. Super tiring lol.

For PBB, normally need to get the approved card first then BT. I know some banks have a combined application, but PBB is separate.

I recall someone reporting 9 is max.

I have 6 supps for my VS.

Applied for my Quantum on 5 April and received SMS approval today. Can't see it in my online banking though.

Curious to see if I will face the same teething issues re online transactions. Can't wait to try it out.

I've done it before and PBB VS didn't me any rebate. For both Uber and Grab. Think it's been reported quite a few times in the previous thread.

Everything is retail unless there is a specific exclusion. I haven't read the TNC for this, but if it doesn't exclude petrol then you're safe.

Week 3 was only paid out on 14 April. Just need to wait patiently

VS requirements are reportedly strict. If you're far off, better apply for Quantum then later try your luck with VS.

No difference - the RM50k quota is shared.

But good to know Friday still OK.

When I tried several times in July 2016 with my VS, I didn't get CB (reported in previous VS thread). Other forrumers said the same.

As I haven't tested since then, things may have changed. But it'd be good to have a definitive answer.

Oh no. Perhaps after 9 would be safer from now on. I usually do mine while I'm in the office (830+++) and have had no timing issues so far.

For this swipe maybe no need to rush so much. For me, I just try to complete all by Monday.

Did 2 transactions in Jan and March (Zynga Poker chips haha) and both got CB.

I made 3 (advance purchase) bookings via Hilton Hotel App, but sadly they are NOT online transactions, and, the hotel only manually processed the transaction yesterday (which means my Week 6 cashback will be reduced to only RM20 instead of RM50).

Generally I think hotel reservations are hit-and-miss in terms of receiving online cashback. I know Agoda "pay now" is regarded as an online transaction, but there are so many variations depending on which platform you use, and the agreement between the online portal and the individual hotel.

Anyway, lesson learned. Total losses = RM180 (as I used 3 supp cards to get the RM50 6% cashback each, plus a loss of RM30 promo cashback for my Week 6).
