Anyone know why i my speed is slow when using vpn? Before it is fast. Im always turn on vpn to watch youtube. Now cannot bypass the speed capped 😫

Did you or your VPN changed the proxy?

Correct me if I'm wrong, afaik, if u use VPN, your data will be like this

You click to watch this video > your VPN fetch the video to the country you chose as proxy > then the video go to your phone from that country. So it'll be slower if your proxy is further.

Sometimes VPN do something like fetching data to several servers, i.e. you click to watch the video > VPN fetch to US > from US they fetch to UK > from UK to your proxy > then finally to your monitor, that's why it gotten much slower.

Or maybe your proxy is just too crowded, too many people using at same time.

Try check with your VPN CS if there is known case of Webe throttling connection from certain port. I had similar problem with my VPN because Webe throttling some ports, use other port that their CS recommend and i can play Youtube 1080p60 without throttling except when the signal is bad.

Really cheap and get the job done for me.

Interested to jump ship from Digi. Their coverage kinda worse right now.

May i know what vpn do u use now?? Because i have tried several type such snap vpn, proxy master vpn and also open vpn also cannot now. Before this i just use snap vpn and it works just fine. Last monday it suddenly drop. Also i have tried reset my network setting but nothing works. No more hd video for me now 😫

Im not sure about them changing proxy. However i have tried severals vpn but still all cannot bypass the throttling. I notice it all happened on last tuesday and before it works fine. Maybe i have exceeded 100gb per month or what 😂

I'm on Celcom now, no need VPN.

My area, alor setar, usually around 5mbps or less. It was almost 10mbps before but what has happened with webe?

Normal stuff. There are more people using webe at there.

Try my proxy server. Put these in the APN settings.

Im on iphone bro. I dont think i can edit my apn like that. Or is there any jb tweak that allows to edit apn on iphone?

i just ported out from webe 2 days ago, they say last bill will be given in the next bill cycle. my current bill for july is rm55, should i pay this first or wait for next bill?
