I myself also have hair lost, and I'm just age 23.

I know medicine won't help help if I don't change my lifestyle.

I'm still lazy to practice to change my lifestyle... sweat.gif haha

What causes my hair lost:

1. Sleep late (some organs start to heal/recover at certain time only but if you no sleep = the organ won't start heal/recover)

2. Time to sleep and wake up is messed up, sometime so early sleep, sometime so late sleep, sometime didn't sleep at all....

3. Always eat no nutrition food (eat bread kosong as 1 meal lol... no nutrition food)

4. Always eat food that that is unhealthy, not good for health. Eg: keropok, salty food.

5. Inheritance. 3 of my elder brothers all also have hair lost. But my condition the worst due to the add up factors.

6. Stress. I give myself too much stress. This I can't help lol... my brain just keep on thinking things and giving very much stress to myself.

7. use of hair spray or any others. Previously my hair count still ok ok. but hair spray make my hair fall so quickly in 1 year... possibly is the hair skin clogged. now I cut my hair to botak edi.

Try figure out what is your factor of hair loses. If your lifestyle is healthy, then the hair lost could be due to sickness/illness. Then at this situation medicine can help you much to cure it.

If your lifestyle is unhealthy like me, medicine won't help much.

male pattern baldness. ask your father whether he has similar episode at similar age..........

minoxidil can help a bit.......but as with all diseases with heavy genetic component, don't expect much help.......

just be psychologically prepared.

also, there's some connection with your blood lipid profile........food that help increase hdl and lower ldl can help. exercise can help.
but if your blood test shows that you are perfectly normal blood lipid profile, again, don't expect much help from doing the above mentioned.

I'm a female so im not sure if this method works for you, but i have case of severe hair loss and managed to grow it back.

1.Go for scalp treatment every month or 2 month, it is EXPENSIVE but i personally vouch for this one and please go to a reputable hair salon.

2. Buy viviscal hair growth pill, u can find it at lelong but sometime it can be sold out so u need to check it all the time. Unless you have relative living in the US to buy for you through amazon. My advice is to buy one box first to check the compability of the product with you.

3.Live a healthy lifestyle and try to eat more things that are good for you skin and hair.

4. Buy non sulfate/paraben shampoo and try to avoid putting hairspray/gel. Go for natural if possible, there's a lot of organic/natural hair product. Sometimes you can even make it at home yourself.

Propecia & minoxdil combo wil give you another 10 years (note: propecia has been linked to low libido in some trials but very low %)

After that, hair follicle transplant

Cheaper solution: shave your head & grow a goatee

Don't waste time and money on these 'alternative' treatments. I know - I'm totally bald.

Only 3 things work:
1. Minoxidil/propecia - Talk to a doctor first!
2. Hair follicle transplant
3. Razor blade

That's it!!

I went with option 3.

Oh, I stress this point. Talk to a doctor. Not Yu Nam or any other hair restoration centre. Go to a dermatologist.

Male pattern baldness cannot be cured as in stop the balding and then the hair will regrow.
Unless its stress related or caused by an underlying disease then it can be cured and hair will regrow.

Stop it at its tracks before it gets any worse. You can save it as it is but u can never have a full head of head like u did prior to your balding. If want more hair have to go for hair transplant or the good old wig. Those are pricey though.

There are alternatives to doing expensive scalp treatments, hair tonics, minoxidil and propecia. If you are completely bald, there are no chance to grow it back. It's better to prevent further hair thinning problem when you still have 70percents of hairs. Try alavaxplus.com

The best way is to accept it. All the treatment out there are no cheap, some may work but they do cost a lot and it's not a one time off cure thing. They need maintenance, and once you stop , the hair will fall off too.

Keep your hair short, it looks tidy. This is better than hide your baldness by combing hair to the bald area.Try getting an electric clipper and cut your own hair. This way you can know the good length of the hair to keep - 2-3mm works for me after many tries.

Keep a bit of stubble (if you have any), it will compensate for hair loss, and may even look good on you.

and being bald is just part of being male. Don't worry about it. Everything does not last.

p/s: i started losing hair at 25 smile.gif Tried regaine, proscar, shampoo etc.
Now 100% accept it and move on.

this clinic is legit but result wont last.

i have been with ranjit for 3 years, took the pills everyday and night.
initially the result was really satisfying, noticeable hair grow (even my facial/body hair).
but after a long period of time, when your body has immune the pill, your hair loss will start.....again.

tbh, there is no cure.

What about minoxidil 5% treatment? It's the only FDA drug approved for hair loss treatment as I know.

Ways to help reduce / deal with hair loss :

1) Regularly wash you hair with mild shampoo
- clean hair and scalp prevent hair loss

2) Vitamin for hair loss
- vitamin A encourages healthy production of sebum in the scalp
&
vitamin E circulates blood better in the scalp to help hair follicles remain productive
&
vitamin B helps to maintain healthy hair colour

3) Enrich diet with proteins
- eating lean meats, fish, soy or other proteins promotes hair health

4) Avoid brushing wet hair
- when the hair is wet, it is in its weakest state which have a higher chances of hair loss increases.
but if you must comb wet hair, use a very wide-toothed comb and use your fingers to undo
tangles.

5) Keep away from chemicals
- harsh chemicals and permanent hair colour products could be damaging for hair health.

Hope this helps you!

Still not too late.

Consult hairloss doctor.

I recommend Dr Shah Hair Clinic; best service.

Local celebrities went there as well.

Consultation is free.

1 hair = RM6

3000 hairs = RM18K

If you're lucky...no need transplant.

Medication alone can help.
