QUOTE(mycrystal88 @ Apr 5 2017, 04:58 PM)
thank you.

i not sure which 4g phone support LTE-A ? how to know digi 4G speed is support LTE-A ?

as i refer this post , if speed test > 30-80mb , is confirmed is LTE-A

could you still recommend me which model and brand support for lte-a , mifi , 4g modem wifi and usb dongle
because in future i still need it (always travelling ) , just one time paid for lte-a modem .
*
1. Check your area coverage (4G+ = LTE-A (pink))

2. So, since you are always travelling, mifi is a good choice for you. Huawei E5786 is one of the MiFi that supports LTE-A

3. As for phone, try to see the specification of the phone in manual/gsmarena/website/google
Different model has different specification.

So if i get LTE-A Mifi, i get more speed?
*
therotically yes.
It is also depend on your coverage/network congestion, etc

And it is also good for future use. DiGi might expanding their LTE-A coverage in the future

For Digi infinite 150, is it really can connect more than 5 devices in one time, CS pening and make me pening too... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
Any method to make the plan share more than 5 devices?
*
This has been stated again and again. I just stated this in few post back
according to FAQ, it is only 5 devices
Attached Image

in reality, can share more than that

you know what, this type of question has been asked many times in this forum, and they also ask DiGi. Of course, from DiGi side, they will follow what they have stated in FAQs. If people still keep asking, and somehow later DiGi really limit the devices up to 5 only, people will rage

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Apr 6 2017, 01:01 PM)
Trying to recommend cat6 modem for my friend, i noticed huawei e5186 has another variant (e5186s-61a)
Apparently this one supports the following

Huawei E5186-61a:  Band 3/7/28/40 (FDD 700/1800/2600MHz  TDD 2300MHz)

http://www.store4g.com/huawei-e5186/

So should be good enough for digi and all telco right (except webe)?
*
Sellers(from other sites) stated that E5186-61a for FDD, only support up to CAT4. CAT6 is for TDD band (max 220 or 224mbps)
E5186s-22a support CAT6 for both TDD (max as stated) and FDD

But the thing is , CAT6 supposed to connect two spectrum at once. So, should be 300Mbps as well

maybe need to ask coolstore and andrewdavid

i would like to ask about all these MiFi device..
does it works like normal router (devices within LAN can interact with each other) or is it simply provide internet access to the devices?

thanks in advanced!  smile.gif
*
You can click and see.
It is a Mobile Wi-Fi (MiFi), small

Usually MiFi can only be connected via Wi-Fi (or WLAN) or via USB or both

If you want MiFi with LAN, I can only suggest Huawei E5730 but it can't support LTE

am eyeing on ZTE MF93D, is this good compare to huawei e5573?
*
Huawei E5573 is better in term of ability to achieve higher download speed because it support LTE CAT 4. While ZTE MF93D is only LTE CAT3. Battery last much longer in ZTE MF93D. Almost double mAh.

I myself using ZTE MF93D that I bought 5-6 years ago and it is still good. Can get 40-50Mbps in my area. My area alteady support LTE-A, so maybe if I buy CAT6 device, I could achieve much higher speed. Test with iPhone 7 and could reach 115Mbps

iPhone 7 support LTE CAT9. up to 450Mbps
DiGi 4G+/LTE-A support up to 225Mbps I think. I saw one user posted here with better speed (around 140Mbps++)

I plan to buy E5786 but scare that speed will remain the same.

Now using Ipad Air 2 as hotspot, CAT4 and my speed around 25-30mbps only.
*
There are so many factors affecting speed
Area, Indoor/Outdoor, Bandwitdth, Level of congestion, and device.

QUOTE(Moshpit94 @ Apr 7 2017, 12:23 AM)
Hello,

Currently I don't have MiFi, I use straight in the iPhone 6, however the speed in my really dissappoint me... always 3G connection and I need to stand in front of the windows to get 4G then move a bit sudah hilang. Is it due to the phone? Cause scared if i buy MiFi it will waste of money. Note: only happen when in building as i live in condo... if outside can get 20mbps 4G just by using iPhone 6...
Edit : area Tasik Permaisuri Cheras
*
Indoor? You may need extra antenna+ 4G Router.

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Apr 7 2017, 12:36 AM)

You asked the seller too or how? I'm trying to find the real manual /specification for Huawei E5186s-61a. Now only have real manual for Huawei E5186s-22a

Yes, for example balcony will get speed just like i roam outside of the house lor, if enter room GG... is it my phone or the location it self? 3G inside my room not even 1mbps download wtf...
*
What band you are connecting right now? Band 7 2600MHz is worse in term of building penetration. That's why when you are in Shopping Complex, sometimes, certain place cannot connect Digi LTE.

as stated there, you are in Band 3. Should be a little bit better to penetrate building. But maybe there are other factors too..

-113 shows that the signal is not very good.
