It is purely my hobby as a smartphone enthusiast. Well I am not the only one here. I even had the underrated n many said expensive Oppo Rs9 plus . I must say critics simply don't know what they are saying without even testing it out. With even a SD653 processor it performs equally well as say V20, Mate9 series, S7e, OP3T, HTC U Ultra. Just because it has a SD653 chip doesn't make it poor. Yes I do agree it is comparatively more expensive. Most amazing is it's very fast app installation which shame most SD820, SD821 phones. The phone s super ultra smooth too. Many look down at SD650,652 chipset but I must say I had good time w them on MiMax, A9pro
Frank speak, you don't play games. So outside all phone is very great nor-matter it is middle range or high-end because middle range power already enough for you.
Why paid more when the device from Oppo is highly over price and nothing special.

As said is my hobby. Price is immaterial to me. - is within my budget and I can afford it. I had paid premium averaging rm500 and above u for unavailable phones here - just to test eg recent Mi Mix I both 128 and 256gb models. Just as pricy iPhone 7+ , it now lies mainly unused these days as I simply don't like it vs Androids. But I will still buy the ip8 to test

My comment is reply to your comment on this sentence "I must say critics simply don't know what they are saying without even testing it out. Compared to expenaive hifi that you use 4 hours a week. Yea. I am surprise even wireless charging is not available in huawei and apple. Samsung have it in s6e 2 years ago. Now the million dollar question is.
S8 or s8plus. S8plus. Screen size is roughly 7% bigger and battery 17% bigger.
i mostly going for s8+
prefer bigger screen especially with infinity display it will look more amazing
I am also more a Note-series fan but my Note 3 really can't keep up with the recent custom ROM adopted from S7 and Note 7. Even taking a phone call will lag. So will get the S8+ first and if Note 8 offer much more, will switch back to Note 8 later this year.
