newbie here..wonder how is the comparison btw bridgestane-turanza and yokohama (if same class)? can 195/55/15 apply to honda city? looking comfort drive. thx advance for sifu advice
*
sure can go in... Yokohama C Drive or ES501 is good for comfort... Michelin Primacy LC is good but wet traction at higher speed (<80km/h) is not good... BS Turanza AR10 is ok ok la, or others??? BS Turanza have a few range also leh...

QUOTE(seanlimys @ Apr 26 2010, 10:47 PM)
bought 192/50R15 Falken ZE-522 tyres...rm300 for two, f.o.c balancing and alignment...

any reviews or perhaps opinion bout this tyre? some say this tyre very good some say very bad...anyone experienced this tyre?
*
522 is good for $$$ but sucks in wet which i think can throw away, coz for all the tires which cannot give grip in wet i'll skip that... wet traction and hydroplaning resistance is very important coz just 1 small puddle of water can set u flying...

T1R isn't ??? or R1R??? or R888???? what size??? expensive meh??? try Yokohama AD08 and see RM400++ for 195/55 R15 only...
T1R is normal range around RM250 (195/55 R15) where others similar range of tires also around there but performance wise Hankook V12 is better and it is more cheaper...

205/50/R17 is a but in odd size better change to 215/45 R17 or 215/50 R17... you are driving Mazda3 2.0L i assume tat you prefer grippy tires...
for Value of $$$ try Hankook V12, good tire for the price that you pay and it's performance is almost on par with others like Yokohama S Drive, Michelin PS3, Toyo T1R and a few others...
Michelin PS3 is the new tire on the market and it was meant to replace PS2 which is a good performer... it's price is almost similar with Yokohama S Drive and Toyo T1R... GY F1 Asymmetric is good and comfort too, it's performance is similar with PS3 and it's price is quite reasonable should be below RM400 but PS3 above RM400...

for comfort tire you can choose Yokohama ES501, Falken 912... this 2 is quite reasonable priced comfort tire within the range... smile.gif

So Hancock v12, toyo t1r, Michelin PS3 are performance tires right?
Do they have an all round performer?

bro AD07 is Extreme la... so cornering should be better than PS3... but Wet PS3 should be better, it is a all rounder smile.gif

well yes u will have marginal better FC i suppose... but its performance in wet sure surpass AD07 as extreme tires will never have good traction in wet... i think u know how it feels in wet after u use AD07 already, but PS3 is just like normal driving in wet but u need to becareful also la...

use 215/45 R17 then... i think Michelin PS3 or Goodyear F1 Asymmetric fits ur requirement...
this 2 Max Performance tire is considerably quiet in it's category and the grip is good in dry and wet smile.gif
