Hello all. I'm currently looking for a Bassist to join my band. Our previous bassist is no longer able to commit to our practice schedules and gig dates due to his long working hours. we are looking for a competent musician who is keen to play live gigs, write original material and is willing to commit to the band. Band info:

GAZZO is a hard rock outfit from Penang Island formed in early 2007.

The line up currently consists of vocal/rhythm guitarist, a lead guitarist and a drummer.

We gig regularly on the local circuit, and have shared the stage with bands like Paku, Carburator Dung and Oh Chentaku.

Our original materials consist of rock/hard rock style music in English.

We are currently working on some Malay/Bilingual material and aim to get radio air play for some of the more radio friendly stuff.

Our influences include Metallica, Fuel, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Stone sour, Guns & Roses, Deep Purple and Rolling Stones.

Hi i dunno how to do the list as per how you guys did it.

Simple one here. Anyone looking for a female vocalist?

A little background.

- Have sang professionally with a band in johor bahru for 2 years.
- Was the lead English singer for a canto band but i do occasionally need to do some Chinese cover songs
- I did all sorts of cover songs from ballads to fast tracks, mostly based on what was popular at that moment and what was demanded by the audience.
- As per a post from the previous thread which i started and got closed, someone asking for avril, yes i can do avril.
- If i have to state what songs or genre i wanna sing, i don't have any specific one, cos during my singing days, i was never given the luxury to choose. All i ever got was lyrics and told to learn and next thing is sing it. Kind of used to that and like it that way too because it challenges me to learn the trick on how to manage each songs given by my teacher. But i can't do metal or rock, tried and it was a disaster.
- Reason to why i quit was cos i needed a real career.
- Reason to why do i wanna sing again, purely for passion and tired of karaoke.

Im looking for a bassist to play music like radiohead,smashing pumpkins,nirvana,lifehouse,audioslave,some emo rock and punk too.
Currently i already have 1 guitarist, 1 drummer, 1 vocalist, 1 keyboardist so gotta need 1 bassist and if possible 1 more guitarist if i can get...PM me.....peace...

and hit songs are like celine? mariah? etc..etc..

i tot u already got a band some guys from jamtank? u are quite defensive when i say they need more improvement. *grinz*... u need someone with a bit more experience to manage and transpose some songs to suite your key, not play cos the txt book or the TAB they downloaded say to play it that way. *grinz* or in the long run it will just hurt your diaphram/voice box, etc..etc..etc..and it maybe detrimental in the long run.

well, i guess transposing isnt a big problem as long as the band mates knows how to read notes...

Anyway, still looking for a drummer at the moment...
