Would like to try any modern rock music for the moment;
bands like Static-x, breaking benjamin, slipknot, seether, a perfect circle, crossfade, stone sour, the rasmus, switchfoot, and many more!....typically the bands you hear from bilboard rock chart

(rough) --> Mudvayne, Static-X, Seether, Meshuggah
(toned down) --> Seether, Coldplay, Stone Sour, Breaking Benjamin
My guitar playing styles: Static-X, Incubus, Godsmack, Meshuggah, System of a Down, Coal Chamber, and others not related to this band which is rock, pop rock, indie, funk, blues, jazz
My piano / keyboard playing styles (not related to this band actually) --> Coldplay, Hillsongs and gospels, and basically contemporary mainstream songs

casual lead/rhythm guitarist looking for rockers to jam with:

instrument: guitar

artist preference: jrock (glay, luna sea, l'arc~en~ciel, dir en grey), children of bodom, system of a down, alter bridge, creed, trivium, a wee little bit of neil zaza and vai...(would like to try new stuff)

music preference: jrock, hard rock, modern rock, metal (would like to try new stuff also)

just wanna look for different style of musician to jam, have fun and learn new stuff...

i play soft, hardrock, metal...favourite would be metallica, GnRoses, Joe SAtriani, J Petrucci...
i learn tableture very fast...coz what's in my mind is not notations and knowledges...
but skills and experiences in playing with "feel"
currently in PJ, but moving to Klang soon~

im not a good guitarist..but im willing to learn if some1 is willing to teach..

music influencen and all isnt important to me at all..ill play anything to everything that is given..not fussy..

im currently situated in cheras..dont really have transport of my own...it depends on the time and all.

i use to play classical guitar..n move on to electric guitar..still very new to the techniques and so forth.

er..i like playing easy listening songs like those u hear in cafe's and acoustic touches are good if possible..the other side of me do enjoy metallica,sabbath and etc...so yea..do leave me a pm or something if you are interested in a rhythm guitarist

Additional info: I'm comfortable with basic techniques but not advanced techniques like tapping or string-skipping. I tend to play a lot of arpeggiated motifs and linear runs. I would love to be able to play fast. I'm trying to reach 15 nps but due to lack of disciplined practice, I am currently stuck at 12 nps (yes, yes... "slow-hand" territory ).
