If 20+ wip towers are fully occupied, traffic jam during rush hours is almost certain in CBJ. To avoid traffic jam, you should have bought at gohtong Jaya or bukit tinggi.

Basically there are 2 group of CBJ lovers, one is residents bought for it's tranquility and second is flippers hoping for prosperity, and both objectives are contradictory.

I just signed SPA for maple residence few days ago, and I am happy that I made this choice after visited few other townships. I just think this is where I want to stay with my family (I am not saying this is the best township in malaysia, just it suits me). To my surprise, the sales are pretty good although at current climate.
Would move into cbj in 2-3 years time and looking forward to meet all the good neighbours there. :-)

Distance is never a problem however traveling duration is. Ppl in Cheras could be 8km away but jam with 1hr whereas ppl in cyberjaya could be 27km away but arrive in 20mins time.

If new look for Aspire Residence, or for subsale can consider Serin residence or mirage by the lake for around your budget. Those units r about 1000sqft, not pigeon hole and I think min of this size is more suitable for own stay.

How is the food at Padi? Any other shops opened along the same row of shop?

Which Padi? The one nx to old town? It's been operating for many years. The price went from affordable to less affordable. Their food is not bad. Better than old town of u ask me.

Food quality is way better than old town and pricing is reasonable / affordable I would say. Easy parking, short waiting time, affordable pricing with OK food quality - that's attracting us to repeat visit.

The public perception is that Cyber is in Sepang, or adjacent to it. In fact, many Malaysians are oblivious of how much travelling time MEX highway has shortened. Generally, the older generation is having difficulty in accepting places like Cyber and other southern part. They equate hustle and bustle as sign of prosperity. Maybe they have strong sentimental attachment to places like PJ, Subang, Cheras etc and are reluctant to move to new place and environment. But I dread living in those congested areas. I want serenity and bigger space. Those are the reasons I choose Cyber. And of course the most important factor of all is your choice of location must be convenient for you to go to work.

went to cyberjaya thru putrajaya this week
first time sesat when going home, almost went to dengkil (riding my motorcycle)
2nd time got sick when searching for parking at a shopping mall the parking was on 3rd/4th floor (literally spinning from ground level to top)

the crowd in mutiara damansara seem to be of a different class than those in Cheras

I used to live in Shah Alam and would drive to MD for our Ikea needs, recently we moved to Cyber and had to go to Cheras for a few rounds of Ikea shopping and we hate every minute of it.

We looked at the map and decided that driving to MD is worth it so we dont have to deal with the crowds in Ikea Cheras.

Does anyone know where the future Cyberjaya MRT station is and when will it be operational?
