Actually if we look at the price:

PS3 - 2150
XBOX360 - 1550
Wii - 1550

PS3 is just extra 600. What is 600 if you're getting Blueray disc, Cell processor, slot drive, memory card reader, SACD, etc?

And 600 is just 3 game worth of money. Unless you really like Xbox Live! or Wii's dna, PS2 fanboy will sure stick to PS3. And PS2 install base is huge. PS3 will still win.

buying the games for PS3 oso expensive la that's why ppl stick with xbox 360 or Wii.

The price of current ps3 is still expensive...althought i'm a ps3 fan, but because of few reason, i decide 2buy wii 1st...at least i can buy more games& enjoy the experince which u can't obtain from PS3...Maybe in future i'll get 360+PS3, who knows?

Same price lar. I saw PS3 game rm200. Wii game also rm200. But xbox360 only rm150. So more or less lar. But PS3 game is BD.

Where got expensive, its the same price bro. Just add RM600, u got BD player. Even for Xbox360, if you want to add HD DVD, u need to add rm600. So which one is more expensive? Its the same lar.

Wii games if for kids and graphics is pretty bad for new generation console. PS3 is the way of the future.

nvm lar. I think everyone who play console is kid or big kid. We all are big kid. Kekekeke....dJinn is big Kid boss...

For games, theres several place we can buy cheaper& original from Djinn/bernard/ beatboyz...Maybe can get more discount also.
For BD Player, not everybody will buy it, some might wait till hv more movies/game release thru that media only ppl buy. The current price for BD Player is above average, i'll prefer 2wait since i already spend on the latest console..hehe

For pros and cons of the 7th generation console, can't really say anything about it..Own has its uniqueness their way...If ppl can afford, i'll recomend trying every console...the experince of trying every console is priceless

Look at these "future proof" features from the original PS2:

Firewire - DEAD
HDD expansion slot - DEAD
Modem/LAN add-on - DEAD
