merderma is not effective and its very expensive

can try whitening products... scars are easy to fade, but scars WITH deep marks... now that, takes time. but always remember, if ur face has fresh scars, avoid chinese black sauce (old ppl say wan). will leave dark marks. u can try the body shop vitamin e wheat germ oil. will lessen the colouration of the scars but constant using mind u. is not miracle gel where u can see improvement overnight.

Got this product name "Hirudoid" sold at Guardian's pharmacy... claimed to be the nearest substance to skin healing element... I've never tried it tho.. altho feel like trying.. around RM 19.88 the last i checked... =X

Rose hip oil (rosa mosqueta) works for scars. takes a couple of months before you see any results though, but it works. It's a tad bit expensive though. If you are interested in using it, make sure you get pure rose hip oil, not products that include some rose hip oil in it.

Get pure rose hip oil, and massage 2-3 drops onto the affected area once/twice a day.

ive used the clearasil ultra spot clearing cream, which is available in most pharmacies and isnt costly. it doesnt totally take away the scars, but it at least makes the scars not obvious anymore. it claims to work in 3 days and stuff like that but for me about a week. aplying moisturizers with vitamin E helps too.

iam using the merdema product now..
it very smooth the oil..when using it..

i think need take time make it lighten..

Some time ago, I used Dermalogica's Medicated Clearing Gel. Too bad that they don't sell this in Malaysia anymore. So have to buy from Singapore...

i used mederma, used rose hip, take vitamin E pill 400iu, applied vitamin E wheat cream, tried ginvera scrub, took ACE pill, used clearasil, took skinclear pill, used facial mask and tons of other solutions before.....

merderma is hard to use, cos it forms a layer of membrane on the skin when it dries.

vitamin E is oil soluable so expect it to be oil. so as rose hip, very damn oily, cannot go out to town after applying

took much of vitamin E capsule = will get u side-effect dat i m talking bout in huge quantity. it acts as antioxidant.

tried genvera marvel gell scrub, not reallie effective and its a trouble.. scrubs sumtimes causes more problem...

i have been mixing both ACE and clearskin these days.

vitamin E cream is okie, but takes time to apply and face will be oily and greasy altho they usuallie claim the opposite.

the fastest to remove pimples to me = pinch it, press it till its flat, drain all the oil out.

the fastest to clear scars = combine some of the above products, do it orally do it by application. sleep well, take extras antioxidant stuffs... drink apple juice daily..

you shouldnt take too much of vitamin E, there is a certain limit to the amount that we should consume, otherwise it will become a threat to our body.

You cannot remove acne scars, its the damaged tissues that are left after the acne. What you can do is to maintain clear complexion, preventing new acne from forming rather than on the right hand you are trying so hard to heal the scar, while on the left hand you still get new acne.

Laser treatment, punch technique, microdermabrasion, acid peel and you named it. Did they work, so did, so the effect is not really significant. However, what I understand is that it gonna cost you a bomb if you go for the high-end laser one because you will not be healed upon one treatment, you need to revisit the dermatologists for several session per year to see at least significant effect after a year.

Don't talk about Mederma which claims to work on scars, but to keloid scars, it does work but for acne scars, I don't think so.

If you are using Acid peel, then you are facing the risk that your skin layer will be thinner which means the epidermis is more exposed to the outside world. This will make your skin sensitive.

Perhaps, you guys can try elicina that works some times ago for my niece.

well, there is one way for girls to have nice skin (flawless, no pimples)...that is to take birth control pill, it regulates your hormones and your menstrual cycle.

however, the side effects of the pill is not as enticing, weight gain....so if you want to take the pill, i recommend you also manage your diet and exercise.

huh? for female birth control pills? I think so far the most effective still roaccutane or isotetrinoin ( something similar with accutane). Its the best to achieve clear skin in short time. But then for long term, it has various side effects for someone's health. So its not adviseable to take long term. Go search for a good product. Whiteningcan be good to dab on the skin, make sure ur skin wont easily irritate then its okay. Else you have to find some sort of whitening cleanser. Do take note that skin with acne cannot scrub it too much. Its not good.
The acne laser a.. you need to do it about 4 to 8 times to see results, then only got see some improvement. Besides that, need maintenance like using sunblock to protect your face during daytime, never went out without a sunblock!. Dont add too much thing on face. use basic. thats important. Inveest in a good cleanser, it'll somehow helps to fades aways the acne marks. All the best to you guys.

I personally think laser, is pretty well expensive. Plus, laser need maintenance. Few times do then can improve appearance of scars. For holes or moon surface can use mask. I bought one for sis before online. 1 time use already got so much effect. Serious, better than laser. Perhaps u guys can try it out. I dont know if it works for scar, but i works best for holes or moonsurface. can can get another thing from online, that is a mask called collagen crystal mask. I think brownish packaging. I saw 2-3 sellers selling in lowyat, perhaps can tried it out.

my mom used to use pure vitamin E cream where she got from her fren who is a dermatologist and it faded her freckles, scars and some pigmentation.

the marks on the face will slowly fade.

but some other pigmentation on her face is very stubborn and she went for laser treatment to got it remove/lighten.

she told me have to do the laser treatment every week for a few times until the scar fades.

the first time she did was damn scary bcoz there was a huge red mark on her face (like kena burn) and its normal for first time.

after going several times, her face is damn clear now! (as if she use sk-ii liddat)....

and the best part she did the laser treatments for free... i'm so jealous

i did laser treatment at sg.wang.She's a lady doctor from china.1st, i did on my whole face for pimples, after that it will leave u with deep marks.hard to go away! it took me about 1 and 1/2 year to lighten all scars...Then now im doing pimple scar removal for my forehead at the same place too.But u need many sessions b4 ur marks are totally invisible.takes long time man...im not spending on it anymore!kinda regret doing laser coz pimples are still popping out and scars took a long time to recover...

very effective.

I had been looking for a long time to find something that'll fade off my chicken pox scars and animal bites i've had. Parrot took a chunk out of my face, dog bit my leg, and definitely pimple scars as a result of my itchy fingers. So far i've found doing it this way works.

1. remember to exfoliate skin to rid of layers of dead skin regularly, like few times a week.

2. use a good renewing night cream to regenerate new skin cells. For me, I am using Estebel night cream my mom got for me. which would make sense that it's marine based (i.e, seaweed extract) cos it provides good regeneration, elasticity and hydration. I can barely feel and see my chickenpox scars and bites now. + my complexion looks more dewy, so i love it to bits.

I recommend you to Miyome...It is very effective for pimple scar and pimples...My face used to have lots of scar and pimples..It helps to heal and maintain your skin in good condition..

Once i have really bad acne scars. But now the acne have stop and scars are deminishing. To stop acne i use Cetaphil and PanOxyl as suggested by one of our LYNN member Jinyee.

To clear acne scars I use glycolic acid peels at 30%. Scientificly proven to clear scars and blemishes. You could buy them at ebay. I have tried most of other product like Mederma, Rose Hip oil, Tea Tree oil, Hirudoid and the like. But most over the counter products dont show any visible result, some even cause pimple breakouts.

Glycolic and Salycilic is safe to use if you use as instructed. It clear blemishes plus it clear acne as well. Just require to take it from low concentration like 10% and move up to 35% gradually.

And you need rest time, for example after 6 peels, you need to stop for a month to let your skin to heal. But it really works, takes a little time but results can be seen by fourth week. Basic thing is you need to use moisturizer wif sunscreen evrytime going out. But it is not for sensitive skin type bcoz it peels away dead skin cells and can cause redness.

This is just from my experience, some product may work on some people other product may work on others.

Hi..Im suffering frm hideous acne scar as well. I used Mederma, and seems like it works for me, and it consume lot of time to heal..well, not completely heal, but make the scar less visible.

WTA: Ive read in a megazine and internet that COSMOLIGHT may helps in reducing acne + scar. But I cldnt find any beauty salon in KL offer such treatment. How serious is it? If it is a deep scar, may have to go for surgery, otherwise use some good products can help...

I have this problem some times ago. Could try some Vitamin E products to prevent acnes & Vitamin C for whitening.

I try this to remove the scar before. Now use it as whitening essence. Quite good & suitable for sensitive skin as well.

CO2 Laser is the most popular one among all now. If wanted to remove scar with laser, have to get prepare to do it for few times to see the result. One time hardly see.

One procedure is around RM800 to RM1000. The procedure takes for 1hour to 1 & half hour. To do the procedure is not difficult but to take care after the procedure is the main concern.

Must avoid to exposure under sun. Not to mention sunblock must be apply. Can't use any strong products or scrub at the early stage.

If not that serious, recommend to use non invasive skin care.

well i have quite alot of "spots/scars" mostly around forehead and near the sides of the chin.

funny thing is my face feels smooth but the spots are there. its not those crater type.

it's so gentle. love it.

If your pimple is recover totally, then you can use a foam wash to cleanse
your face and use a express peeling gel to remover the black spot.
If your pimple is not recover totally, your face is still grow pimple, then
you can use a foam wash to cleanse your face and use a teinted cream

auwwhhh, acne scars?? yikes.. find a good dermatologist and ask for advice on how to get rid of them for good. Scrapper, injection, laser.. depends on how worse your scar.

besides, can try new zealand organic Pot of Gold skin balm, contains high vit E which helps reduce scar too. i have one and it works for my foot scar.

a month ago, a disaster of the queen acne "Jerawat batu" on my cheek .. then soo on hunting for remedy, sleepless nite haha.. cz the scars of it is freakkin scary .. i mean wit the dak spot.. although try to control hving all those black sauce.. then i was browsing down the search engine.. all the remedy ; applying cinnamon powder wit water on ur face.. assam jawa.. and so..so.so.. then finally bended by the Guardian as i walk in .. thought tht all those product are just a gimmick sayin tht scars will be invisible.. and.. so..so.. then finally i found "Garden of Eden" the scar serum after and hour plus hunting to fade my scar.. thk god, tht this serum really faded up my scar which really a disaster.. but eventhough it doesn't really make it dissapear.. but.. atleast it really lighten up the scars of mine.. n...

jz to share yea.. cz beauty are gulz priority ma .. hwever.. still continue using it .. and for upcoming acne on "certain" days.. i'l grab cinnamon pwder as used to be my baking ingredient.. haha.. but nw tht's my 1st hero.. as advise.. knowin our skin really tht matters the most.. soo tht we might not lost in the beauty hunt..

i did use mior soap for about 2 months. bt so far i din c any much diff on my skin. my acne scar is still remain d same.

have any1 tried "ampoules" ? heard tht tis products r gd to heal acne scar etc.
