his last active date is Feb 19. Maybe already got caught by police and went into lockup or maybe already went hiding from MPAA and RIAA.

Don't have any jurisdiction in Malaysia, LOL... But IMHO, I think he planned it.. After all, he lowered subscription rates to RM120/year. Being a VPN provider myself, there's no way you can justify the bandwidth costs for RM10 a month. He prolly tried to get as much people as he could to sign up for a year, and just disappear.

Can't find out much from those except he old host was Softlayer, but that won't do much good since its posted as 'old'.

His last used server is not from a known service provider, so I'm not sure who to approach, but could try contacting admins at vpls.net and noting that his IP were involved in an online scam.

My personal thinking . police will not handle this kind of e-scam case unless you got a very solid proof which I think, most of the victims don't have because they just transfered fund into the accounts.

I still think that a clear & big picture of <duock> is very important here.

I have not received any refund until this point.
Having benefit of doubt, I'm giving him until tomorrow to refund it.
I assume 3 days will be sufficient time enough for him to refund either through Intrabank or Interbank.

Duock, if you are having real intention in running a business, please respond to your previous and current customer and answer all the question. And your explaination for the runaway for 1 month to be disclosed in 2 day time has reach. What are your reason? Keeping mum and quiet is not a solution.

sorry for the long delay and i admit i was trying run away from you guy too. this is my false, really sorry. i know sorry won't solve any problem. so i just back here and expain why i disappear in 1 month.

last month 17~18 feb, i change new server. once the new server up and running around 36hours, the server suddenly suspended, so i call to the provider ask what happen, it say RIAA and MPAA complain about the server running illegal activity. so the provider must suspended my server without any support, because they said they will get sue by law and they promise will help me settle, once it settle, they will unsuspended the server, but until now, they server no yet up, i also got request refund from the provider because i only use the server 36hours, and the server cost me too high, i also called to my bank to charge back, but until they havent charge back or what. when i c i cant solve this problem and i don have server on hand at tat time, i scare you guy blame me and mad me, so i decide trying avoid this problem and maybe will never come back.

but this few days, some subscriber just digg me up and tell me, running away wont solve ur problem, maybe will let ur family and partner involve this matter. so i think i have to face it and i decide i wont run away again, so hope you guy forgive me what i do to your guy.

I'm not sure how others will take it and how this whole incident will do to your reputation as a trader, but one thing I know is that I respect you for having the courage to appear in LYN again, running the same service and explaining the whole situation.

Now, all subscibers know about the cause of problem. <Duock> said he made the payment with credit card and doesn't having enough money to refund at this moment.

1. Now, you are running on the new server(which was suspended due to RIAA, MPAA complaint) by the same provider. Yes or No?

If Yes, how are you going to assure us that it won't happen again.
If No, please disclosed some details so that we user can check on it again.

For the first two weeks, most of us are trying to defends you. Entering third week, a lot of suspicion arise. You did not notify us or give us any news. By hiding, you won't solve your problem. Appearing after all your detail where being disclosed in page 1 and 2 of this thread, a lot of people will be double cautious when dealing with you.



You can do it once, you can do it twice, but what is the assurance are you giving us that you won't repeat the same as above? Furthermore, it is our money that you are dealing with, and by giving a bad Customer Service, it won't bring you far further if you can't respond.

I might continue back to your service and forget the refund, if and only if your answer can provide some assurance and prove to me that you are a safe seller.

I beg to differ, corporate and big organizations use VPN to access their own network from connections that is outside their network. Not the other way round unless its their own acknowledged network.

However, using your company's connection to get into a VPN that is not your company's network is strictly prohibited. Securities can be breached. I doubt that you will be able to VPN from any big companies network.

Its not likely to use the service to access others company private network anyway.

I wouldn't consider it illegal. I've got quite a number of overseas subscribers who use the VPN just for VOIP purposes (When their ISPs have blocked VOIP traffic due to close ties with telcos).

Its all a matter of what the users do with it

I have to defend Duock as a previous user of his VPN service. He did gives out great service and why u guys bashing him while he got problems with his server?

Are u guys inhuman or wat? he having his hard life until feel hard to face all of u, and some of u just bashing him?

VPN service is LEGAL. VPN users who use it to download illegal file is the true person who is ILLEGAL. MIAA turns to him bcos there's recent an unknown user using his VPN service to send spam mails.

Well that's what you get when you're doing a business
You don't expect paying customers to sit back and smile if they're not getting what they paid for

I'm not concern about his VPN service.
The problem is failure to do what he promised. I'm practically annoyed and anger at this. I am a person, that once you promised, you deal with it.
I've given him more than ample time to refund, giving him more than enough time to clear all this doubt, giving him more than once opportunity to show/proof himself that he meant what he said. This is certainly not his first.
He promised to repent(bullshit) and won't do such thing, but yet it happens again. I've searched through google and you can find more of his case there and this is not the first time he done this. Certainly, he deserved to be put into minor offender/blacklist(whichever fits).

And I'm getting some good news this coming few weeks as I've found and knew someone who live near to that address, and might gave me a few more clue to his whereabout before I visit him this coming August.

Use your common sense. If he really in trouble, just inform. No need to play hide and seek with us.
And before you say anything stupid, you can google up his previous case easily. Trace his modus operandi and you will know what I mean. And since I am so free, yes, I rather do something I think that I hope can change, and to make online trading a better thing. Peoples like him makes online trading vulnerable. Eliminate them, and you get a better trading community.

he probably is using some normal webhosting with unlimited bandwidth. When these webhost found out about what he is doing, they cancel his account without notice. So he run away and look for another webhost.
