PBB Quantum's classification of categories

1. Dining:
Eating places & restaurants (exclude hotel)
Bars, cocktail lounges & discotheques
Fast food restaurants

2. Entertainment:
Motion picture theaters
Dance hall, studios & schools
Theatrical ticket agencies
Orchestras
Bowling
Sports clubs
Amusement parks

3. Departmental stores
Parkson
Metrojaya

4. Any online transaction (ecommerce), exclude transaction via www.pbebank.com.

5. Exclusion:
Casino and petrol transactions, cash advances, balance transfer, transactions at Tunku Abdul Rahman University and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College campus, government related payments, payments to charity and payments via www.pbebank.com and ATM.

hi all sifu, what does entertainment category covers? cinema? and what else?

No issue for me. I did it just now.
Add card > request pac > keyin pac > cards added.

You may retry. If failed again then have to call customer service.

Maybe u have to activate d card first.

Are you existing public bank customer having saving account with PBB?

I only hold their credit card and do not have any saving account.

Keep showing me the error - "You do not have the right to perform this action".

I applied PBB Quantum Cards via email to pbcs_online@publicbank.com.my with complete documents required on late of March. Approval notification via sms on early of April. Manage to get Master Card after 4 days of sms via post. Just got Visa Card on 17 April.

if using QUANTUM, we can't sure which category for cinemas online booking may falls to: online first or entertainment first?

Does one requires a SA with PBB in order to apply their credit card?

I think online and entertainment is a different card - online MC and entertainment is Visa

anyone working in PB can provide the full list of merchant participants for Cash Back categories?
