Nowadays as they become more and more expensive, less people are buying them since there are many other cheaper alternatives, and people who still buys them are real collectors so unlikely they will sell them. Thus less people buying means less people selling used. This would also mean that in order to make sufficient profit, Bandai either have to continue increasing the price while reducing the production numbers, until the point where nobody will buy them and thus ends the GX series.
Do notice nowadays you can't really find them anywhere cheaper than retail, even used. So best bet is to purchase from online shops before they sold out, which then you'd have to resort to ebay or forum which will be much more expensive. Yeah, I'm definitely not expecting it to go for cheaper than retail, especially as GX-40 seems to be an extremely popular set (I had no idea so many people watched Godmars). RM900 is what I'd consider a pretty decent price, but not bargain cheap. My only worry is that I'm buying a fake OEM version, but if in general SoCs are not produced by OEM companies due to high costs etc, then I'd probably risk it and just buy (after checking it out). never heard of any fake SOC before... should be ok as long as it mirrors a standard looking SOC Godmars....

bump it as why this thread become so empty as chogokin series is still continue strong from bandai and other company also i am just started to collect robot figure this year and man collecting good quality robot figure is not cheap
