is the advertising slogan for Japanese brand "National" in the 1950s before changing their name to "Panasonic" in 2003.

Can you spot the advertisement here in Batu Road (now Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman) in 1959?

I can't find any advertisements in BM. Perhaps the language is not popular yet.

Nowadays appliances have built-in obsolescence - few years only, kaput!

Their product was solid, my mum's standing fan is almost 40 years but still working good.

Nowadays even Panasonic product is not as long lasting as National.

Equipment of yesteryear seems built to last for generations, equipment of nowadays only at least to last till the end of warranty period maximum.

haha this remind me of a kool setori

fren bought Toshiba laptop although mahal bcos lasting mah

kaputed, it was the motherboard, exactly warranty period + 1 day ohmy.gif

Sg regional office refuse to replace, say warranty over, replacement must wait from Japan and cost >RM1K ranting.gif

I suggested to her go find toshiba japan email and complain there.

Japan approved replacement FOC.

Didn't even buy me 1 cup kopi for good advice. rolleyes.gif
