I remember seeing someone post the iriz camber/toe/caster value range here or fb(?). Cant remember the table content though
As I understand, due to wear and tear under load the camber screws can slip to new value but as long as within the acceptable range, you may not need to adjust it or request to re-adjust to original value. At this point there is no need to replace it.
But if somehow damaged (senget as you said) it and/or the camber value fall out of its adjustable range then you got no choice but to replace new/bigger camber kit.
The price different maybe due to brand, quality, and how big the adjustable range it can cover and the shop maybe already include installation charge.
The question is, Is that shop's alignment machine got the correct iriz settings or they use other similar car settings? Those reading might be still acceptable and you can ignore the shop's advise.
While there are shop that make honest claim about camber screws rosak then there also cases about shop want to con you into unnecessarily replace the new set.
