I'd say all those Iriz owners here who DONT do their homework before sending for service then end up getting chopped by SC for changing/adding unncessary stuffs, you guys deserve it.

You can say that it shouldnt be that way in the first place and while i would agree with you, but if you know they are like that, its all the more reason you should do your homework before sending for service.

thats why it pays (or rather saves) to do your homework.

If you did not consult us here, buta buta you pay DOUBLE.

I lost one set of key, and im using my spare now. So wanna make another set just in case this one goes missing or not working..

Sending my car for 30k service.
Current mileage is 16k.

Total cost is rm332.. but now got promo from 1-30 June, buy petronas syn eo get free oil filter. So after minus should be around rm300 or so..

-spark plugs
-fuel filter

Ya, cause from 30k onwards no more free labour already

Then addition stuffs from normal service is spark plugs rm50 and fuel filter rm40..

Btw very poor service from Proton. Send my car in at 11.30. They stop work at 12pm, this is usually their lunch break, but now puasa month so idk why they still have lunch break. Most of the staffs 90% are malays anyway. But its ok, I got no issues with that..

the thing is, its 2.30pm right now.. and the garage lights are still all off and not a single mechanic can be seen. From the time I came here at 11.30, only TWO CAR has left the service center. That must be the morning appointment one I guess.. Talk about slow..... So good ah their break 2 1/2 hours?? Even gomen also 1 hour only and during puasa month no lunch break but habis kerja 1 hour earlier.. Proton oh Proton...

So its almoat 3pm now. They turned the lights back on around 2.40pm but until now nobody is working on anything. They have 6 bays for servicing cars in total, but the same 3 cars are still there unattended when I came at 11.30am..

This service center is big, impossible no jobs to do. They reopen the sc on 28th June, no extended raya break. The next available slot to service car is on 7th July. Means anything earlier is all fully booked. Forgot there is job to do?????

I thought it could be that, but the SAs are here. They're just sitting and chatting among themselves. I saw few mechanics still here as well. They are here in the sc, its just that they are not doing any work.

edit: so 3.15, they finally bring my car in and jack it up.. appointment 11.30, start servicing 3.15pm. Brilliant proton deserve to just die and close down.

I called to make appointment on 4th June, the next available date I get was 23th June, today. My car due for service on 11th June thats why I took earliest available slot which is today. Anyway now the next available slot is 7th July onwards. Means a lot of customers. But at the rate they do work, not surprised if there will be a lot of backlogs.

11.30pm appointment start servicing at 3.15pm. What about those that appointment 2/3pm today? Wonder if they can get their car serviced in time..

stated in service book, 30k got fuel filter. element air cleaner is an add on by the SC which you can opt not to.
