QUOTE(chikuera @ Mar 23 2017, 01:36 PM) i change air filter at 20k, which is supposed to be done at 30k air filter has always been at 20k bro...then during 30k, no need to change air filter. so less to pay maybe can do like that, spreading the cost..better than lumpsum but you need to speak with the Service Advisor.. |

I'd say all those Iriz owners here who DONT do their homework before sending for service then end up getting chopped by SC for changing/adding unncessary stuffs, you guys deserve it.
You can say that it shouldnt be that way in the first place and while i would agree with you, but if you know they are like that, its all the more reason you should do your homework before sending for service. |

QUOTE(clarkblitz @ Mar 27 2017, 08:08 AM) Guys, thats why it pays (or rather saves) to do your homework.Went for servicing on saturday last week.... did my servicing after skipping the CVT oil and CVT filter, and yes I can change @ 60k... just that they were pushing me to service last week... told them i'll wait for 60k to change CVT next time, they kept quiet, haha changed air filter, coolant, EO and all those other stuff, bill came up to RM 367.80. At first it was RM 720, but later they showed me a bill of RM 367.80 instead, haha If you did not consult us here, buta buta you pay DOUBLE. |

QUOTE(annas473 @ Mar 31 2017, 04:17 PM) No more I think. If not wrong, someone already flash persona tcu but flash back to stock. pm-edReason: different setting. Not sure either failed during flash or what. Can you guys ask around people at sc during service. I want to create LYN Whatsapp group for more efficient support and event management. Strictly no 'good morning wishes' and 18sx. Only for Iriz owners and event to be organize. PM me directly your phone no. and I will add you manually. Thanks. |

QUOTE(khairilyazit @ Jun 1 2017, 09:19 AM) Yeah.. new key.. they also need to register the rfid of the new key into the ECU/BCM.. done through PADT2 software.. maximum 3 keys can be registered iinm last time i ask.. i know cause i had my ECU replaced once on the Suprima... So need to register back the keys.. QUOTE(lol~ @ Jun 1 2017, 08:42 AM) yup. the disadvantage if use key + sensors that unlock the steering and other things. if not ur engine will not start. different from normal old car keys. last time i also reply here said that i found a key maker who can duplicate car keys with sensor. he quote me rm300. not sure reliable or not. holy fuck. |

QUOTE(lol~ @ Jun 1 2017, 09:37 AM) consider cheap. previously my dad merc key replacement price 1k-2k. forgot already but its thousand, not more than 2k iinm. but then.. i check past thread and got this.. In V7, QUOTE(siewstl) If your model is not the push start button type, then replace spare key only cost you RM60+. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry83037507I just duplicate one in Proton SC for another spare key . They can do it very fast. If both of your key mulfunction, then will be more expensive. Thank you |

QUOTE(juudai1990 @ Jun 3 2017, 09:25 AM) Hi bro, wow you got conned since day 1.I owned iriz since 2015... I seen in this thread and the website stating 10k service interval but since my first.day, my sc get me to service every 5k interval.... I check the book also got 5k, 10k, 15k.... So I'm not sure what the service interval period?? I'm not a heavy user... Mileage clocked less than 4k in 3 months....but the service charge is roughly 240+ each time since day 1.... Can I change it to 10k?? I am working in PJ and used to drive back to Ipoh SC.... good job. im sure proton sc wishes every customer they get was like you. |

Btw very poor service from Proton. Send my car in at 11.30. They stop work at 12pm, this is usually their lunch break, but now puasa month so idk why they still have lunch break. Most of the staffs 90% are malays anyway. But its ok, I got no issues with that..
the thing is, its 2.30pm right now.. and the garage lights are still all off and not a single mechanic can be seen. From the time I came here at 11.30, only TWO CAR has left the service center. That must be the morning appointment one I guess.. Talk about slow..... So good ah their break 2 1/2 hours?? Even gomen also 1 hour only and during puasa month no lunch break but habis kerja 1 hour earlier.. Proton oh Proton... edit: proton edar setapak sc This post has been edited by LordDenning: Jun 23 2017, 02:36 PM |

QUOTE(jVIPERs2 @ Jun 23 2017, 02:57 PM) This service center is big, impossible no jobs to do. They reopen the sc on 28th June, no extended raya break. The next available slot to service car is on 7th July. Means anything earlier is all fully booked. Forgot there is job to do????? |

QUOTE(lol~ @ Jun 23 2017, 03:15 PM) today is friday so they went for friday prayers. but it is unacceptable because usually 230 already back from mosque friday prayers ends at around 2 right?I thought it could be that, but the SAs are here. They're just sitting and chatting among themselves. I saw few mechanics still here as well. They are here in the sc, its just that they are not doing any work. edit: so 3.15, they finally bring my car in and jack it up.. appointment 11.30, start servicing 3.15pm. QUOTE(lol~ @ Jun 23 2017, 03:27 PM) variable. but usually 2:30 already back from mosque. i myself usually back around 2:17. u might learn something today, dont ever do anything near festive season I called to make appointment on 4th June, the next available date I get was 23th June, today. My car due for service on 11th June thats why I took earliest available slot which is today. Anyway now the next available slot is 7th July onwards. Means a lot of customers. But at the rate they do work, not surprised if there will be a lot of backlogs.11.30pm appointment start servicing at 3.15pm. What about those that appointment 2/3pm today? Wonder if they can get their car serviced in time.. This post has been edited by LordDenning: Jun 23 2017, 03:48 PM |
