I did jump start to my father's flx before. both cars showed no issue. and replacing battery while engine's running is common practices to keep all settings from reset afaik. Rather, doing it otherwise will surely give voltage spike (sudden 0v to >12v)

Hi guys, wanna ask a question here. Did you guys change the tyre at the Service Centre? Or just regular tyre shop? How about alignment and balancing after changing tyre?

Last week sc update new firmware for my 1.6 premium unit. Result is rubish though it now can play DVD movie while driving.  Reverse camera stop functioning and 2 front speaker are stop functioning as well.  Tomorrow have to bring to SC. QC after fix is failing big time.. haih

2.5 years old. overall, could be saying as it squeaks quite often.

from my observation, it will likely squeaks most of the time when i drive aggressively with harder rev. and yes, sometime hitting rough road will triggers it to squeak as well.

and most important is, once it start squeaks, it hardly can goes off, even sometime it went full burst mode, and squeaks like a real mice non stop. 

1.3 is not really for drag race for me,  but you still enjoy main corner2..
if am not wrong corner2 need soft side wall thus performance tire shall be consider. For 15 rim tyre I use 195/55 yoko advan fleva. Mine got at rm230 at JB,  but sure you can get cheaper at your place.

Iam not spiritual driver pun,  but I do enjoy taking corner after corner continously. So far road to mersing from kota tinggi gave me much fun,  but haven't got chance to test with my iriz and fleva yet. Anyway don't practice dangerous driving thou.. hehehe

want to ask when you guys get your car tinted, will they take out the door panel to do it a?

Anyway yes engine bay is not a total dry area. water sipping from above is far much less than from underneath. For years I park mostly open air area so rain never give me problem so far. In driving the water will splash engine more from below which is riskier.

Also never try to drive even in shallowest flood found, I've seen to many got stranded just after crossing it in flood season

IRIZ use what engine? try to search only found VVT Engine.

I only know proton got Campro and turbo engine. where did this vvt engine come from?

Myvi dont have the feature maybe due to cost saving, as while you need to put the speed sensor to lock automatically, you will also need another sensor to automatically unlock the door during crash, which iinm is quite hard to implement as the sensor need to adjust the lock between crash-duration (which the doors supposed to be locked to prevent drivers and passengers thrown away from the car) and after-crash (which doors should be unlocked automatically to ease rescue process). Correct me if I'm wrong 

I dont think most mid-size Japanese car have this feature. Not really sure but my dad's Almera doesnt have one

So far my Iriz didn't autolock the doors when I'm driving it. Have to press the button only lock.

mine was rectified during my 10k service..no fuel smell after that

last month, approaching 40k (after 2 years approx), the problem made a comeback but maybe just a little compared to previously before sealing

i think probably the sealing wears off and need to be rectified again

also what is a "booster"?

i need to close harder for my rear boot..if not, somehow in the middle of the drive, there will be some beep2 lol
