Yeap. Upgraded 2 weeks ago. The next day went touge. The grip is superb compared to using 14" and now I have very good grip that ESC doesn't get triggered anymore. Minor understeer once thou probably due to tyres still not yet break in and there was some gravel along the side of the road.

wa.. change new tire and straight go to touge.
i not dare to do so as i always feel like I on rolling on mold release instead of the real rubber everytime i change new tire

need on opinion guys.. im about to buy a showroom unit 2015 iriz 1.6 premium priced at RM36500. The condition i must say about 98% new and still got smell "bau kedai" and the mileage at about just 3.5km.

I know 2017 model is the refined one, it will cost me RM52K (after discount), and i also aware the any model before 2017 has got many minor nyamuk2 problem.

What do you think guys. Really need ur advise.

Thanks in advance.

Going to make appointment to upgrade my Iriz ECU. Any other free upgrades that Proton is giving? So far for old Iriz can only upgrade the ECU, right?

If they give free 5 years service and warranty, go ahead...

2015 Premium is better than 2017 Premium tbh...just ask them to update TCU, ECU and Steering to 2017 update and enjoy your new ride.

Once got, make sure u rembat the car and note any problems so you can fix it at the first maintenance (1k KM if not mistaken)...

Oh, also...see if you can pao a new battery and rmb to check the tyre condition... Silverstone M5 have a quality problem where the sidewall cracks...

TCU and steering also can upgrade?

Proton SC playing games with me again. 1800 number refer me to branch, then Chan Sow Lin branch said they don't have the machine to upgrade yet. Then Setapak branch ask me to make appointment together with regular service appointment. Then they said if just upgrade ECU, have to charge RM60 la what la. If do together with normal service maybe no charge or reduce the charge. Wtf? Ask back Proton Edar about this, they said for charges, refer to SC. Wtf? Some more that Setapak branch ask me who told me about the ECU upgrade? Wtf?

Only 2 years apart with very big saving over 20k.
2015 a lot more goodies and feats than 2017.

Yes if still eligible for 5y free services then a lot more reason to pick it up.

Most important try to test drive both model to feel any differences personally, if it more worthy compared to value saved

Thank you for the advise. To make it clearer, this car is not direct sold by Proton. It is from 2nd hand car dealer. I think proton sell it to them.
It is currently registered under Proton name. The car also has done its service periodically. I also called Proton customer service to verify the service date. All looks good.
The warranty is still valid for 3 years until 2020 by the way.
