In Malaysia, probably ~ 10. But in Singapore.... damn syiok!! Well, thanks to my mates over there whom are crazy hunters. Never hunted like that before. Total Msia + Spore probably ~ 80ish. One thing i will have to say it's easier to get higher IV pokemon in Spore.

So jelly.

Greedy siow! I'll use raspberry + ultraball mo matter what cp, is a lapras!
Lapras need some respect.
From start of the game before this event, I only hatched 1 lapras with rubbish moveset.

Yeah... abit regret being greedy.

Either way, didn't catch any candidates that's worth powering up so its just for candies to continue level up my current Lapras and for hoarding just in case Niantic #makelaprasgreatagain

Wow.. 80+ lapras damn giler wei.

Tbh, i also didn't realise until u asked. So i checked my dex. Because i transferred all the low cp and low IV ones i didn't have a proper count besides the dex figure. I guess it was a different experience for me. In KL / PJ we normally cover a specific area(s) and catch the mons that are within that area. This time with my mates they brought me around Spore specifically for Lapras (also caught a 93% and 87% dratini). Its not that easy because you have to manoeuvre through housing estates, industrial areas, even accessible reservoirs areas. However, using their domestic tracker, they can roughly gauge the timing between spawn vs travel time (P.s. on average spawns over there had between 30-60 min time compared to 15-30 min in Malaysia). Friday night till saturday morning + sleep and makan + saturday late noon till evening + rest and makan + saturday night till sunday morning + sleep, brunch and back home. Crazy...... !!!!

Lol... i understand that feeling and did that for all catches in Msia. Its understandable considering the spawns over here are damn rare and its so hard to find them.

But after going spore and encountering more in the wild, i would say >1.1k or those with >82% iv only razz + ultra. Others would use great or even poke ball. <1k cp then pinap + great... lol.

Imo....

Defense: IS/IB (legacy), IS/BZ (legacy), FB/IB, FB/BZ

Attack: FB/BZ, FB/IB, WG/HP (my preference towards ice moves as will use this as D9 counter). Mixture of Ice + Water types are also ok, but i would prefer these 3.

Wah, how many lapras you retained to date?... lol...

That's how we do it in Taiwan too biggrin.gif

Heck... the most hardcore one was I rode ~5km and walked another couple hundred meters along a hiking trail lit only by my phone LED @ 2am only to have the freakin togetic running away from me.

It's fun though.

So basically any ice moves are good. water moves are meh...

Lapras not much...didn't actually pay attention but estimate about 15? Been catching but not transferring. Will have to do some homework first.

But I do have to clear lots of pikachu - about 40 pikachu I believe and about 6-8 pichu

And seels, also about 40. Gotta start clearing...no space!

It was fun... but can't do it often.. age catching up ald... lol
I guess the feeling is different because of the areas that are covered vs returns. In PJ, would cover say Sunway - Kelana Jaya - SS2 - Uptown - TTDI - Mutiara Dsara (which is a lot) and if lucky, probably catch 1-2 lapras. In Spore, covered the west side of the island starting from Woodlands - Sembawang - up to Tuas and probably can catch 5-6x more in one go.

Err... what security update... the gyms near my house still have the same ppl at ungodly hours. One gym which is in a private residential condo (beside where i'm staying and i can't access it) is constantly changing hands even at midnight.

Well, i.r.o ice type attackers, i guess lapras is still the best compared to the rest. I only have jynx at a similar cp range and its HP is too low to withstand damage. Cloyster and Dewgong are good attackers, but for the ones i have, mainly can use to up prestige rather than take down opponent gyms.

Of all the time been busiest with work this week no time to catch anything for this event, like total 10 Magikarps so far..no hope for Shiny sad.gif

Thankfully so far 3 Lapras appeared in my home itself and completed all my evolution mons with some leftovers

Out of curiousity.... If you guys came across a gym with 6 Blisseys inside ranging from 2.3K CP to 3K CP.
