i went there mid of may this yr, but our tour guide only treat us those "machi" cos we bought a lot of taiwan snacks at Jiu Fen hill.

glad to find forum about travelling in taiwan. i laready come out a tentative itinerary for a 10-day backpack trip in taiwan end of september. now just wait for my friend to confirm joining the trip. it took me 1 week to come out the plan after refer to lots travel guide provided by taiwan government.
anyone know where can get cheapest air ticket from kl to taipei? i checked the airlines website and found that eva air offers the cheapest air fare during that period. can get cheaper air ticket from the travel agency or not?

"valid" is only for government , u may work in hotel which is private co. and nothing to "valid" . Experience is important other than degree paper. exchange rate is 1RM=NT9+ , i wonder how u communicate/study in Taiwan if ur chinese is even worse than primary school level. In general , most of university books in taiwan are in english but teaching mostly always in chinese.
