heres the review as i promised. along with some photos.
The review might not as good as a professionals but i tried my best to make it detailed enough.
Basically i cover more on the exterior design.
For the functions, i will try to explain a little.

There this Very Stupid COMpany, selling ORIGINAL at ORIGINAL RRP BUT
you need to ADD RM50 for the "free" 512mb Micro SD.

As you can see, there are no side buttons.
FYI, the lateral parts of Nokia 3250 are made of METAL
The top(on/off) and bottom part(speakers), front and back are usual plastic.

it looks nice,but pity must twist the backside of the phone to use it's features...
and no ir...if not almost perfect already

Ooooh, another one of my ex-dream phones back in January... how much would you think the RRP is? How much was the 3230 when it first came out? RM1,800?

Looks kinda bulky to me but a great design though...how much will it be?

oh..bout 6280. At first i wanted 6280 but in the end the design for 6270 attracts me more.
But i wont get it so soon, i want another 3G mobiles.

The pink and green 3250 looks really weird...i wont get that for sure.The black looks the best to me.However, the design of the 3250 doesnt really look too attractive to me.Mayb its me not into candybar phone.But..i do like the w810 though..

this phone confirm lower than 2k and may be price at rm 1599-1899 like tat... UK got liau but lazy go count and convert..

ehehe ..wow .. i just read the competition between this and w810i in gsm arena ..but i didnt know this phone was so nice ..looking at the picture above..the twist does bring some plus =)

but .. the camera shld be lousier then w810 right? ..

Well, symbian will be a plus except for the lag that will happen.If you dun like symbian, treat it as a normal series 40 phone then(plus a little lag).Symbian phone can handle java programs too...u got an advantage of installing .sis program oso...

funny how my 1 year of installing programs i've never kena before..

not only sis...others as well,but cant be discussed here...

all new nk phone are symbian de la.. if this phone no symbian i oso wan lowh.. last time use nk 6600 use 1 week sell off liau..

its not ALL the new ones,la...

but IMO,its all the good ones...

s40 damn boring la...

after using my sister's 3220,parent's 6020 and 6101...then coming back to my 3230,feels like a world of a difference...

just wondering how much of video bitrate symbian phone can support
witout lagging playback?

i think i never like symbian since 7650.
Still remember that time i install some funny software,
it can play different background sound during calls to cheat ur wife/gf !!!
I think i m just lazy to download softwares.
and i dont like to go tru so many menu to get something.
I never use technology to its full potential.
Or i think its maybe when i started to realize its potential,
i m already in love with other gadgetz. hehe

erm..if your asking bout smartmovie,i think 192 would be the optimum..
but 128 would suffice,as its a small screen,anyway...

Not much suprise on its design, since its just a twistable 3230. Don't like the the allocation and size of the keypads cause I had big fingers

Well, me too.Never been a symbian addict before.Yes i had used a few symbian phone before.It was great in the first place where u can install this and that, but after some time, it becomes boring and u dont even use that program in the phone except for mayb games...and the main point i opt for my current series 40 phone was because of the lag that are caused by symbian phone.It was unbearabe...

me too,big fingers problem..even my 6270 i hav problem when typing sms..always pressed 2 keys accidentally..
3250's keypad smaller then 6270,wonder how i going to sms then..

Ahh maybe I can trade in my 6680 for this without too much loss! But... the screen... sigh...

same here .. i hate symbian =) .. it makes it look too computer like ..for me ..i looks awful on a handphone =)

The keypad on the 6270 ws really big.Then u must have really big fingers then..lol..

haha..yala..is so hard for me to use my friend's lg p7200 as the keypad quite small n flat..

lol..agreed.The 6270 was really thick.Well, not everyone like symbian including me.I dont really like the twist part though..might be a unique design but the phone can be designed better..too square for me...

3250, must b quite similar as 3230 mah..

yeah!!!! i played with a NOKIA 3250..... a dummy.

its pretty thick actually and squarish also.
but i dont care.. i love the twisting design.
u twist to the left for cam mode.
u twist to the right to the opposite site for music mode.
save money...save money..

so when 3250 wil become ur 'wat i hav' , no longer 'wat i want' ?

i think it wont be so soon as its not yet to be found anywhere and
i will make E1070 listed in "what i have" then only Nokia 3250 turn.
hopefully if the petrol price didnt go up again.

well, it was a dummy set.
Nokia is always like that...u will see the dummy set first...
and most of the time the retailers DONNO when will it be available...
then suddenly out of no where, when u were shopping and not "prepared"...
you see the real thing at all outlets.

yes..it has hit the shelves hard....the dummies i mean.
Since the dummy is out, u just need to wait another week or 2 till the real thing is out.
same thing happened to 6280.
Last time i saw dummies in the shelves and bout a week or 2,
the actual mobile is on sale.

The price as discuss by members are around 1799, 1899..below 2k for sure.
Its a 3 series anyway.

where you play with the dummy? authorised nokia dealers?

well, im quite sure the price wont reach 2k.This phone was supposed to compete with the w810.if it was higher than 2k, some people will switch their eyes to SE.

this phone wont exceed rm 2k la.. i hope.. i dint expect w810 to be rm 2199... shocked me when i see the price..

It shouldnt be so high priced.
Its a 3 series le...aiming on teenagers, average kids. not the superrich ones.

6280 is RRP 1899, its 3G, 2mp, memory card...
So i think should be lower.

The technology keep upgrading, improving even while we are chatting here.
i donno how are they going to make the price fair enough for everyone.

they will surely make a fair price to compete with their competitors de la.. if this phone more expensive than w810 of coz ppl go buy w810 la..

no..no..no.. Not everyone goes for cheap price only.

There are some Loyal Nokia supporters u know..

in fact... w810 is not that attractive.. for me la..

Well, pesonally design wise, i would go for the SE which looks better to me.better color combination.but im not so much of an SE fan, and for some people, symbian would b a plus point...

funny how the 3 series is aimed at kids,yet 3230 is more expensive than 6630!
popularity has abit of an influence as well...

i personally find w810's design better then w800...that one look like dunno what hippy only..

3 series has always been aiming on teenagers till the technologies are upgraded,
prices also upgraded.

手感比較厚, 不是太好揸手, 個keypad轉90度就進入影相模式, 幾方便, 影相就按<play>鍵, 變焦就按<上一首>或<下一首>. 完全反轉keypad就是播歌模式, 不過好似覺得個介面無sonyericsson的walkman手機咁靚和user friendly.......
