So what did u go with? Im also looking for tablet around the same size like ipad. Budget around 1.5k too. Skipping china made bcus i want good support n will be using ths tablet fr school work. I want mi pad 2 but no where to be found.

Yeah I bought Teclast x98 Plus 2, long charging time and heavy Bluetooth keyboard casing. However, after updated Windows 10, there are some complications such as touch screen not working on boot, will need to reboot after start-up for it to work. Drivers issues I reckon. Touch screen sensitivity not that great. Refunded it because I was fed up of the seller gave me wrong model for Bluetooth keyboard casing and didn't admit to the mistake. Ended up I forked out a lil bit more money and went with Lenovo Miix 520. So far so good.

mostly those ranges are still china made, just rebranding... else, try check on acer or lenovo's one

looking for tablet for note taking(One note) perhaps emergency MS office work.

-Chuwi Hi10 plus--pen tech not good
-Joi 11--same as above but 32gb only
-Jumper 6 m4-- EMR stylus like samsung but from china only so say batt life no good
-Miix 320--still waiting for pen model. ask lenovo sg if can buy as they have active pen model but cannot deliver. also no charge using powerbank
-miix 520--a bit out of budget batt life so-so no charge powerbank
-2nd hand surface 3--still expensive
-Android tablets--rubbish onenote app on android
-Ipad pro---to expensive can but surface pro

Im looking also for Chuwi Surbook Mini. Hope the price ok since dont expect warranty from china.

just the warranty, like mine i have to send to gearbest since i bought mine there...as for acer/lenovo, they got local warranty
