Originally, airlines would give you "miles" according to how far you actually fly with them. So if SIN Seoul return was 3000miles, then the airline will "give" you 3000 miles (sort of like a currency) in your account.

Flying business or first class will have a multiplier so for example biz you might earn 3x miles ie 9000 miles.

Then you collect miles and then eventually redeem them (for example you need 58,000 miles to redeem one way biz class to Sydney / Melbourne).

Nowadays if you don't fly an airline often you still can get miles via credit cards. So like s$1 spending, the bank gives you 1.2-2.0 (or more) points / miles. You can then transfer these points to your airline account and use that to redeem flight tickets.

Why ah? The conversion to point was not worth it?

I always saw people rushing for Bus Kilang or Travel Bus when they saw long queue in woodland ciq or jb.. Just curious is it pay cash for it? Anyone experience it before?

dont worry about it since its not even 2 week yet, it took me exactly 2 weeks, and I dont even have a degree.
The HR in my place say for Malaysian if reject they will usually tell you in the first week.

Hi...First time i tried POSB remit transfer to Maybank malaysia (same day transfer)

I did successful transfer at 12PM (before 2.30PM cut off time). and i did receive SMS from POSB "Your DBS Malaysia Remit to xxx has been processed successfully 16/08"

But after that i login to maybank malaysia still did not see the money were in

May i know roughly when the money will be arrive?

Just settled my PR formalities . Timeline as below

15 Aug 2016 - started work in SG
11 Jan 2017 - submitted PR application ( using 5 1/2 months psyslip)
15 Sept 2017 - received IPA for PR
12 Oct 2017 - complete PR formalities

REP is an A4 sized paper.
entering or exiting sg, as of last i went through, is show passport only.
however, they mentioned REP may be requested though i have never encountered them requesting
so i keep a softcopy in phone.   

I shrink my REP to a size which I can fit into my passport holder (font size is quite small though), with a soft copy back up in phone, but after almost five years had not been asked to show it to anyone. Gonna renew it for the first time soon! Wish me luck haha..

once you get the extract and did not return it within the next couple of weeks(?) you will be straight-away be blacklisted.

Last time when i request for extract at JPJ, i lied to the officer that i will come back so they did not cancel my license. Also, at that time my license will expired in one more year i kiasu enough told them to renew for 5 years..In the end valid for 6 years ....

Anyway, i got it done at JPJ Padang Jawa Shah Alam.

According to my friends, do not go to JPJ at JB because that one conlanfirm will batal your Msia license.

Another advise, if you are not rushing to drive then get your PR first then only go for driving license because in the end after PR need to convert to new driving license to reflect new IC number. That's what happened to me.

depends on starting salary. my Co starting pay for spm is S$3k, so if not imediately, the very least will get after working for a couple of years.

Speaking of book, I've been searching high and low for the new Robert Kuok book. Everywhere in MY & SG is sold out
