Below 30, 24 come SG, 27 got PR, 28 apply citizenship , last yr 29 successful convert, this yr step into 30's

Single Loh, I clearly know myself will not and would not ever want to goback Malaysia to work, reason that SG currency and the environment suit me more, better convert now than later
That's no useless cert

Useless ppl , yes

Came back to SG with extract and got my evergreen driving license.

Got both MY and SG license valid.

As long as SG not bother i am fine and MY is anything also BOLEH!!!

probably not updated in the system yet thats why the renewal went thru..
the moment they do the actual suspension in the system, then it'll become invalidated. Theoritically.. LOL
but yeah, anything also Boleh...
so the real test is your next renewal, then you'll know if its boleh or tak boleh...
*
My Msia driving license is going to expired in 1 year plus that time (2016).

I renewed for 5 years so total valid for 6 years till 2022.

If it becomes invalidated later no issue also. biggrin.gif

My PR REP due to renewal earlier than it. Most important REP renew....

Apart from the tekan, ghost and physical toughness why is that so afraid to join NS?

Me on the other hand applied to join SAF VC...

Still waiting for reply.

My Singaporean friend said waiting time is as long as waiting for PR application..

I am guessing they are not willing to part with 2 years of their life where you could be building your career.
*
QUOTE(deodorant @ Nov 8 2017, 11:31 AM)
2 years of your life “wasted” lo.
after graduating from NS and join workforce, all your female peers all already got 2 year head start on their careers.
*
For me i would say that 2 years is a valuable chapter in life.

You see and experience things that not money can buy.

If im converting in the future, i am still different from the rest because i have that 2 years missing chapter.

That 2 years chapter got lots of things to talk about.

PUTRAJAYA: After months of speculation, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced that Parliament will be dissolved on Saturday, paving the way for the 14th General Election (GE14).

Najib announced on Friday that he had earlier sought an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V to obtain his consent to dissolve Parliament.

Addressing the nation in a live telecast from Perdana Putra Complex, Najib was flanked by his deputy Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his Cabinet ministers.

Following the announcement, all state legislative assemblies, save for Sarawak, are expected to apply for dissolution to ensure simultaneous parliamentary and state elections.

The general election must be held within 60 days of Parliament's dissolution.

For me, i also do not bother to invest or buy properties in Malaysia because i dont think i will go back there for retirement.

However, i will still go back to vote as long as still holding Msia IC because parents and relatives are still there in Malaysia. They deserve a better gov and better life.

For abang Huaweie5830, his replies is sensible also because he has already converted.

Malaysia is not his concern anymore.

Kids very expensive leh in SG. 13k single income also need to think twice. Expat package for relocation, take care wife and kids. Applicable mostly to amdk. Go survey the market rate around. Not conversion.

Fiona jie,

13k single income not enough? For you only is it?

Is yours online application, or using all the forms?
If online, submit change online can d.
If using all forms, go to ICA and submit a change of document form, along with your new document.
The requirements change from time to time, and is not set in stone.
You want my take. apply for PR, have a kid and have your wife give birth here. PR will be approved for all unless you fubar.
*
If Father is PR and Mother is Singaporean.
Give birth here in SG the child follow father or mother nationality?
