Well i studied mechanical engineering at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (bachelor degree), a private university in Malaysia. Just graduated officially this February actually, but worked as project engineer (although its on construction sector, so totally different field ) since last November till this Jun. Yeah i do notice the offer are kind of "low ball". Also does the salary offer are justifiable for a degree holder ? I mean considering the living cost at Singapore are not cheap anyway nowadays.

Well i tried to negotiate with the agency, and they say the company are firm with their decision. So its gonna be 2400 SGD, with no increment after probation. Yes there will be AWS and standard 14 days AL. In terms of salary increment, it was done on every mid of year (every year). Should i accepted the offer then it will be meant that i gonna be stuck on that amount effectively for a year. Oh well...
Time to budget for cost of living in Singapore then. I do think 2400 should be enough, right ?

p/s: how to know if the agency really negotiated with the client and not just simply bluff in order to secure the deal ?

They insisted on seeing the HR letter and past 6 months pay slip at the time of submission (Dec) instead of the latest 1.   
Ended up going to ICA twice !!!

it depends on the company's quota for EP and the salary stated on MOM website is part of the guideline.

guys i have some serious question that i have been confusing since i entering singapore...

the first question is what is the difference between EP/S-PASS/ work permit? as i know company has to help work permit & S-PASS employee pay levy. but is that matter taking an S-pass / work permit? got any advantages for the employee?

EP is the highest tier for professionals, and jobs that sg requires talents. S-Pass is for supposedly mid-skilled range of jobs neutral ground. Work permit i dont know but it has been commonly stereotyped as being the "bangla" pass. EP and S pass have almost similar privileges (ie: can open any bank accounts/credit cards/apply PR). Work permit holders dont have that privilege (limited bank accounts eligible to open & cannot apply PR)

and the second question is i went to an interview and the company decided to hire me and they told me it takes 3-4 weeks to apply the application from MOM. what makes it weird is i haven't give them my white card, how it that possible for them to help me apply work pass??

They dont need your white card now. After company submits and MOM approves they will issue you an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter. Then after, you go do your medical as per required by MOM and submit. The white card is surrendered only on day of appointment to do the actual MOM-issued card which also require fingerprints & taking photo

If I have already done body check-up recently, can I use that report for the declaration of fitness? How recent does the report have to be for it to be valid?

I'm currently looking to open the DBS Multiplier account or OCBC 360, and I heard that some of the banks require proof of residence and they do not accept the HDB Authorized Tenant Enquiry Result from the HDB website.

Also, what are the requirements for EP holders to get a credit card?
