Hi, may I know how long did it take from dropping application to obtaining IPA?

Hi Guys, just checking. If I got my EP 3 months ago then now I'm jumping to a different company, do I still need to go thru another round of medical checkup for new EP application for new company? During the first EP application (3 months ago), I had gone thru medical checkup.

Just received updated the hr that the mom turned down the application and want them to employ Singaporean =(. The hr already appeal last Thursday and the reason to appeal is that’s they advertised in job bank before but no local applicant. Sad

hi guys, im on the verge of being offered a Field Technician  position in singapore with a US based company. They are in the oil and gas industry.

so far im unsure what benefits they are willing to offer me. i suppose it might be just the standard ones like medical.(no housing/  transport. its all under me for those)

ive read about the tax there and im not that sure and just have rough gestimation.

if i were to ask for  a basic of 4.5k - 5k, with the intention of at least taking home about 3.5k of salary post expenses + taxes will this be a good figure? or a is it a viable figure

simply put im looking at a rough figure of Rm10k +/- per month to take home so to speak.

is it possible? all replies and help is appreciated. thanks.

There are lots of people in SG with > 10 years of experience earning less than S$3.4k.....
You are high income earner so may not know.

How can you tell its lowballing
Maybe the guy is working as a retail assistant, $3.4k is pretty good

after interview, took one week to give offer,
after offer took 1 week to ask me fill forms,
after one week baru put job on jobbank..
and after two weeks, say dint reached MOM requirements,
after one week, it's now..

I excited to work, but its quite long
