What is my tax rate in SG if I start work in Oct 2017

Assuming you are EP, if that 3 months > $20,000, then have to pay tax.

Doesn't matter PR or non PR, you will be under tax rates for residents if you work/stay > 183 days.

hi all, if I start working from October 2017, do I need to file my income tax for this year's tax cycle?

from my understanding, I don't have to do it since my income for year 2017 doesn't exceed $20,000 ?
*
Income below 20k no need pay but you still need to file.

Well, those converted didn't have the right to vote, so no need to judge other Malaysian who are willing to go back to make a difference to their country.

Some simply judge others who want to exercise their duty as a citizen and didn't realize how silly the way they reply. No wonder talent and intellectual need to be cultivated.

Hi, would like to ask do I need to pay tax for the first year working in Singapore? Start work in end of April17, when I need to do tax filing?

You need to pay tax if your income in 2017 is >$20k. Tax filing begins on 1 Mar 2018 and due date:
e-Filing: 18 Apr 2018
Paper Filing: 15 Apr 2018

QUOTE(milkshakeforum @ Jul 5 2018, 05:17 PM)
I just found a job near Novena MRT station. I need to come back to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), Malaysia by using bus service. Which one is the fastest method? Bus or MRT?

I was thinking to use MRT to go to a bus station (near to custom checkpoint) and take a bus from there to TBS. Basically, this is to avoid the road traffic jam especially on Friday. But how?

Or Is there any other way? Cause last Friday I tried from Golden Mile Complex to TBS, it took 8 hours including the jam, it is very tired. Any better suggestion?

Thanks.
*
Oh, which company? I work around there also.
I frequently travel using FirstCoach. Depart 6.30pm from Novena and reach Bangsar usually 12-1am.
