U will get the NOA right after u fill the tax amount

I didn’t do any tax filling. I guess my company auto submit the filling? The agent mentioned that IR8A or NOA will works... are they the same things?

Even if ur company auto submit, u still need to login into iras and confirm if there is any extra income/relief that u need to declare. Then u can download the NOA.

U better confirm with ur HR this is not a guess guess game  dry.gif

When I login into IRAS > Individual > Check Employment Income Status, it shows that my employer is in the Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS), and they have submitted my employment income information to IRAS. The status there show processed. But there is no way to print out NOA. Since my employer already submitted the income information, I still need to declare if I have any extra income/relief in IRAS? Although I have none in fact.

that is similar to the EA form in MY
*
So you mean we can request the IR8E form from company even the NOA is not ready?

for non-auto inclusion, i would assume 1 uses the IR8E to fill up the iras return form
so yeah, IR8E should be ready (i see from my company I have my IR8E ready)
*
My company is under Auto Inclusion Scheme.. So I think no IR8E in this case? sad.gif

company should still have a copy
my company is also under auto inclusion scheme
but my IR8E was ready like in Feb if not mistaken.
i just save a soft copy for my own reference

QUOTE(aussiebum @ Apr 20 2018, 11:01 AM)
Ahh..no idea then. Actually company should remind u to fill/check ur tax even they r in the AIS. U need to review everything and submit it, then u will get ur NOA.

You should have requested for early assessment on the IRAS website, but I guess that's too late liao. Now you just can only wait for your turn to come up in IRAS' processing. For me I normally get my NOA only around May-June.

[edit] Have you talked to your HR? Even though you are on auto inclusion scheme, the company should still (be able to) issue you a separate IR8E.
*
Thanks for all the answer and help!
I think the next step should be request IR8E from my company since NOA is not ready right now.
Have chatted online with IRAS agent and she confirmed on this as well.
Terima kasih manyak manyak. notworthy.gif

Is it normal for HR to takes two weeks for salary review and approval process for the written job offer?
Has been waiting for a week since verbal offer and no progress yet.

And what is the process for EP to change job?
Is it receive written job offer, sign job offer, wait new employer to apply for ep, after ep approve then only tender resignation and serve notice?

HR from new company insist asking me to tender resignation while applying for the working pass. What I told her the normal process is it wait for the pass approval then only resign but she keep on saying that hiring manager would not wait for so long. Normally no problem bla bla bla..From way she speak I can feel that she is very rude and impatient.. Hmm.. any comment?

Talk to her nicely lo... normally no problem but who knows

Expressed my concern to HR but she said that no one will wait too long for onboarding.
I just received the job offer letter and the stated start date is 25 september.
That means i have to resign by this friday since i need to serve 1 month notice.
But feel very insecure in this?
Keep on thinking what i can do just in case the permit application is being rejected and i have already resign earlier on.

Can we apply GIRO for tax clearance?
Or will they charge directly from the withhold salary on the last month?
Thanks.
