As if sony one day comes out with a smaller bezel phone, you guys will go ewwwww!!! DITCH SONY I'm gonna go look for a bigger bezel phone!!!
It's definitely not a design language thing la. There are technological and technical reasons behind it yes, but don't come out with self justifying claims saying that it's for design reasons.
i am afraid this is a double standard towards a certain brand. in every reviews, there will be certain someone in the comments section love to justify the bezels.
even though the phone looks bulky and its not bezel less, but the hardware i think is better than s8+ which im still using it now (korean set), the mirror look at the back of the phone is so useful for a girl like me to use it XD
actually i prefer no one would reply to his yapping, to keep this thread clean. his yapping is more towards the design, and it has nothing to do with the performance and features of the phone.

i dont really look at the scores nowadays. even if you give me a phone with SD820 in 2017, i am still happy to use it until it no longer supported by Google.
just for reference la agak agak know roughly how many % improve compare last gen cpu, allsame gen flagship using same cpu diff around 5%+- if more than that sure optimize problem or cheating

After few days of trying this phone, really amazed how it's improved since Xperia XZ! I can't see lag anywhere. The screen too also something else, feel the premium. But I still can't force my heart to like the super slo-mo quality. Need a very bright scene, indoor seems a mistake. I'm waiting for it's next flagship, hoping Z Ultra alike, not that XA1 Ultra alike. Oh well, it's been nice to experience this device.
I have been waiting one for ages. if Sony still couldn't come out a single model that replaces the Z Ultra, I may off to other brands.
Can't wait to ditch my iphone to return to sony since my z2 days.
and soon there will be trolls replying, "stick with the bezels better / bezeless ruined their design language / their bezeless phones are ugly" trolls gonna be trolls.
