Hi all sifu,

In 2012, one of the sifu here helped me build this PC. Time flies~ I have been using this PC for more than 10 years (with some upgrades). 
Until recently, I started to feel some games that I always play take some time to load and also have framerate-dropping issues. So, I feel like getting a new gaming rig for myself. I saw a lot of shops advertising their gaming rig bundle deal on Social Media. They normally offer the same brand for all the hardware. Should I just go and buy one of those bundles within my budget? I have a budget of around 5-5.5k~ Are there any better recommendations from the sifu here for me to build a gaming rig within this budget?

One last question, how did you guys deal with your old rig after you got a new one?

Looking to build a PC just to play D4 maxed out at 4k.

For reference, these are the official specs from blizzard.

OS: 64-bit Windows 10 version 1909 or newer.
Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X.
Memory: 32GB RAM.
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series for fully supported DLSS3 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
DirectX: Version 12.
Storage: SSD with 90GB available space.

My preferences are below
Case:  Lian Li A4H20
Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070
CPU: Intel
Asus/Gigabyte

Would appreciate recommendations for a miniITX build and a 4k monitor and open to suggestion on an outlet to go to. 

(my previous miniITX based on a fractal design node202 was built by etechPC (now etexpc)

Hi, what are the recommended gen 3 M.2 SSD here? I am still using Ryzen 5 3600 and I don't think my mobo support PCIE 4.0.

What about Gen4 M2 nvme drive ? Any recommendations or not worth to pay early adopter fee ?

Where got early adopter fee for Gen4 anymore? The new tech today is Gen5 lah.

For Gen4 you pay more bcoz you want higher speeds, up to double Gen3 so the premium is there, nothing to with adopter fee. As for which, Sam 980 Pro, Crucial P5 Plus, WD850X black, all without Phison controller.

I'm now considering a miniITX built around a 4080 for Diablo 4 4k maxed out with Ray Tracing. (D4 is the only game I play)

Exploring but open to other suggestions:
Case: DAN C4-SFX (14.7l) that can fit 4080s
Monitor: Dell G3223Q Monitor

Preferences:
CPU: Intel
Asus/Gigabyte

Would really like to keep at <15 liters if possible. Appreciate miniITX build suggestions.

Am aware I have to import the Dan case.

7950X has hard limit of 170W, unless OCing



So dual tower with TDP of 200W should able to cool it down, Ryzen are a lot more power efficient and throws out less heat than Intel.

For that a D15 or FC140 would be plenty, even the new PS120 ought to do the job with its 280W TDP

The thing is my cousin give his GTX 1650 for me to build my own rig.

I,m not gaming for ages now. Dont know about current tech stuff and what rig to build. May I Have a suggestion for pc build with budget around 2K without GC. Planning to use GTX 1650 with it. Hope it can play current games~
