Hello I am planning to build a rig with parts below. Please let me know which Power supply unit I should buy and if my combination is ok. Also, let me know if there are better alternative for the parts I have chosen.

I am using this rig for moderate browsing only but I will hook it up to 2 to 3 monitors. No gaming at all. I am building a new one because my current rig is very slow. I plan to use this rig as long as possible. Is there anything I could do to make it last longer? I bought my current rig in 2009 and it started to become slow/ lag in 2012 and I bought myself a laptop there. Now I want to go back to desktop but my rig is still slow after I have reformat the thing. Is there any part I can upgrade to make the lag comes later?

If not, how long can a rig with parts below go smoothly without lag?

I have flexible budget. I am planning to order my parts from lazada and amazon because I find seller charging higher price for parts listed below in the town I live.

Ryzen 3 1200
Asrock AB350 Pro4
G-skill ram ddr3 1600 4gbx2
Samsung 850 evo SSD 250gb
NZXT S340

Thanks in advance.

Budget very low. You can get budget PSU but don't expect good quality. Yes, the PSU you mentioned is one of them.

Going Kaby Lake is paying more for less performance. I advise against it.

Core i5-7400 - 751
Asus H110M-K - 279
Kingston 8GB DDR4-2400 X2 - 790
MSI GTX 1050 2GB DDR5 - 589
WD Blue or Seagate 1TB - 200
Corsair VS 450W - 184
Tecware F3 case (USP100 no stock. You have to find it) - 199

RM2992 total (C-Zone prices)

Not sure. Never used it before. I think you should because thermal paste closes all the gaps.

[Budget] RM3,000 (CPU only)

[Purpose] Graphic design work

[Hardwares that will be re-use] Samsung PM961 NVMe & Dell USB 2.0 Speaker

[Monitor resolution] FHD

[Games & softwares that use frequently] Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, sometime Premier Pro(very little sometime), & Internet Explorer.

[Personal Preference] Cheaper-er board with NVMe, number of DIMM slot doesn't really matter.

[Questions]
1. Is Ryzen advisable for the purpose?
2. If not, Kaby Lake or Coffee Lake?
3. More CPU or more GPU?

Thanks in advance.

Change to at least GTX 1060 6GB for PUBG. This game has poor optimization. 400W for GTX 1060, 500W for GTX 1070 (PSU ageing still applies).
