Forget tell u 14400f with 4060ti 16gb rm5370

For nearly the same price 4060Ti 16GB is not worth it compared to RX7700XT. That Radeon has 10-20 FPS more on raster and about equal FPS on RT

I'm a bit out of touch with the specs now... I suppose 4070 and rx7800xt are considered decent mid-tier graphic cards, right?

Depends on what resolution and target FPS you play at. Realistically these are playable 2K GPU:

at 2K 1440P both does ~100FPS at raster

at 2K 1440P RT both does around 70FPS

Hi would like to ask opinion on following rig. thanks in advance

[Budget]
+- RM 15k

[Purpose]
Mostly gaming & coding

[Hardwares that will be re-use]
monitor, keyboard, mouse

[Monitor resolution]
2560x1080 LG 29UM69G-B (there is plan to upgrade the monitor later, hence shouldn't be factor)

[Games & softwares that use frequently]

[Personal preferences]

I'd done some shortlisting of below (but no casing as I don't really had an idea that will match the build)
Appreciate the feedback if any tweaking or better options I should had consider

Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB DDR5 6000 Mhz (White)
Artic Liquid Freezer II 360
WD Black SN850X 1 TB
ROG Strix Aura 1000G

Build #2 ~ RM 13k (based on Idealtech pricing), exclude Windows & casing price

1. Mediocre SSD for its price thou
2. U need 420mm aio
3. Rog PSU not even can call worthy of Ur money...
4. With i9.. u use 7200mhz Baru can feel the slight difference in the ram.

I’m also open for better suggestion (not to limit myself to ASUS) as I thought it was kinda reliable based on my two days Google research 😀 Please kindly propose your spec as I’m totally new to this.. thanks

If your not into OCing, ROG Strix dont make financial sense unless you really like their design & implementation of RGB bling.

TUF line is prolly at the limit of what I would say Asus price premium still makes somewhat sense if you prefer to spend more money that going other brands.

And going for 14900K you need the 420mm AIO version of LF2. Even this might prolly still throttle in Msian ambient temps. This will limit a lot of cases you can choose tho. You might need up to a Corsair 7000D to fit that rad https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-cases/cc...k-cc-9011218-ww

Considering I’m unlikely to do something adventurous with OC, would you suggest that I better staying off K series and stick to B760? Coming more from the perspective that I might not even utilizing the feature but paying a premium for it
