my car need to do 1st service soon (932km at 2weeks 3days). 6.4L/100km FC
do i need to do booking or can walk-in? are there any service center to avoid?

U r advised to make appointment. If you want to walk in on weekdays no problem. But walk in on weekends, come early. If not many people already. U want safe, go to proton sc, not the authorized partner sc.

Try to fill your tank full for 2 click method.
Then manually calculate. The dashboard shown might not accurate.

Advisable to do booking rather simply walk-in. I also do wonder if there is any SC that we should void. So far I went to Subang/HQ and no problem. As for my fc, it varies whether long distance traveling or city centre. Of coz city centre stuck in traffic my fc will be going up sweat.gif

it is but it is calculated not for the total but using the highest speed you go in total...
total speed divide by 2 you get the average...and FC calculation in dashborad is based on that average....

and of course its not accurate..tehehehe biggrin.gif

Press brake and push button

The sales guy did told me to press the button twice first until your dashboard logos all light up, then only press brake and push button, do you guys think it's necessary?
I can hear the engine roaring sound at speed >60kph, is that normal? Can also hear the tar road noise. There doesn't seem to be wind noise though.
I find that it's difficult to control the car at low speed in high traffic city drive. It's either not moving when I press lightly on the accelerator or suddenly move too fast when I press harder - that's normal for CVT? I just need to practice more? First time CVT car.

For push start, previously i kena HU hang after straight press brake and push button. to prevent this problem in future, others advised u push button twice, then wait for airbag light switch off, then only press brake and start.

the dashboard rattling sound really getting more and more serious, especially at the front passenger side. Anyone goes back to SC to get it fix? And does SC really fix it?
As i know need to put a few days in the SC to let them dissemble the dashboard.
