maxis tell me that i need to wait for 1 month to port out.

so on 6th February..i try to port to digi.
rejected because still not yet 1month period.
..........
8th february
..............
digi send another request to port out.
maxshit says wait 24 hours
my prepaid expired on 10th february.
didnt receive any sms on 9th and 10th

................
11february
................
need to topup to call their helpline
try to call maxshit ...
they say my line is inactive and unable to port out...
maxshit guy say the request is resubmitted again that day...

no sms receive on 11th and 12th...

......................
13th february evening
......................
i call again.
maxshit guy say my phone number has some contract problem.....
WTF...its a prepaid line..
so he submit again.
tell me to wait 24 hours...

I have been Maxis customer for over 15 years. Finally moving out bringing along all my supplementary lines. They have grown too expensive, forcing people to take their cheapest plan at RM98. And as we read, only when you want to move they will counter offer. Just like last year they offered some specials only to East malaysians. They have grown to be arrogant, trumping their so called quality of line and data. Subjective I will say.

When I asked to separate my spouse bill as first step to porting out, she received sms to say her rm30/1gb will now be "upgraded" to rm38/3gb. What a load of rubbish...

For rm28 @ Digi I can get 3gb/50min free calls/50 sms.
For rm28  @ Umobile I can get 3gb internet/3gb Video, 50 minutes free calls, 100 sms.

And Maxis is promoting this rm38/1gb package, with no free calls/data. Indirectly they want you to add rm10 to share with a main line who have to fork out rm98 for the cheapest One plan.  confused.gif

As for myself I am switching to Maxis this coming week. For RM50/month I get:-

- unlimited calls
- 3gb internet (with rollover 1gb)
- 7 gb Facebook + Youtube.

As a businessman, I need unlimited calls. The data is more than sufficient for me. I think it's the best unlimited calls package in the market so far. Offer ends this 31st March 2017. As it is a limited offer, their Digi website won't show it but banners have been put up at Digi dealers, stores. Ask for it. I have posted picture of a banner, and a snapshot of what the Digi store will show you from their file.

Compared to Maxis cheapest one plan at rm98, I can save rm48 per month or nearly RM600 per year. And that's my one line alone. I'm porting out my whole family.

Of course people will say Maxis line is best... Come on, every telco will have their blind spots, weak areas. Depending on each individual and his preference for the telco. I can live with occasional slow speeds if I can save more than rm1000 per year.

Want to port out to Digi as well, went to Maxis shop to ask to split bills as first step.

Staff was ok at first then after I explain the few numbers I want to split from the same account, Maxis counter service told me they are dealer, need proceed to Maxis Center.

Anyway I predict it will be a long journey before porting out.

So judging from what u said, it's better to be on postpaid for the 1 month waiting period? In case the phone number goes inactive?

I'm porting 2 Rm48 shareline under one rm158 main line. so now I can only go rm98 + rm48 for the 2 lines. Question is can I port the rm48 with the rm98 together to Digi? Or do I need 2 Rm98, use for a month before can port out?

I am porting out from Maxis to Digi.
Guess what, they rejected my request because I have supplementary line. I don't.
Called Maxis to reconfirm, checked my account online, check my bill and everything basically done everything and nothing mentioned about me having supp line. I subscribed to postpaid and I know from the start that there's only me as the principal line. Nothing more. No supp line. I then request again, same reply, rejected because of the same reason.

4 times rejected. No sms, only through email and calls to Digi saying my request rejected.

Even Digi said that they couldn't do anything about this, only Maxis. I want to keep my number. If I change to prepaid and change telco, they said that I have to wait another 30 days before I can port out.

Now waiting for Maxis to tell me why that problem exist, don't know how long should I wait again. My new bill cycle is here, because of Maxis is delaying or whatever their reason is.

Just simply amazing Maxis.

Well I made a complaint to the SKMM, on their website. So I should email it to maxis as well?
Btw, the CS said it would take a day. Same goes for the 2nd CS(from 9 am till its 4.30pm, does it really take that long??). But after the next day, he said that usually it would take 5 days. He even ignored my question when I asked about why the CS before said it would take a day... rclxms.gif
