I have Mecool M8S Pro L (LB) running stock firmware (ATV), I found there is a lot of apps like Tonton, hypp tv cannot find on google play store. When I side loaded the apk file, it show not compatible. May I know any solution for this?

i think i will buy Mecool M8S Pro L with 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM since the price is almost the same as the box that i mention.

i don't have the axtro acct so i won't go for aotg..
i basically will use it for HK drama, movies, series and live stream of EPL..
and plug it with LAN..

do you think u can ask yr seller on why u gt install aotg?

LoL....i can give it to my brother if i not satisfied with it later on. btw, what would you recommend than? prefer octa core, faster GPU, android 7 or 8 OS, 4Gb RAM, 64Gb ROM, 4K/UHD? not nvidia shield la since my son got it already.

when bootup it show animated android logo then nth, only can watch other hdmi source

press home or netflix button, no response

only happen today, work fine before this
anybody know how to factory reset without able to get into android os?

2. Easy to use (preferable plug and play. No fancy UI to just play a movie)
3. Support common formats: mkv, mp4, avi
4. no need HD (720p will do)
5. Can buy from online such as Lazada easily

I have searched some models, i.e. Mi Box S, Mecool M8s Pro L, T95Z Plus and Tx3.

These are the ones that are rm300 and below.

CPU, RAM and storage wise, M8s Pro L and T95Z are the victors.

Now I am in a dilemma on which one I should go for.. Do you have any advice?

Planning to terminate astroo very soon and looking for better (cheaper!) alternative.

Home Internet: Unifi 30mbps. TM send email saying my plan was upgraded but i think my router need to change. Obviously im not tech savvy so im not very sure here.

TV Type: Old Samsung LED. Not smart and probably will break down anytime. Upgrading soon.  What model would you guys recommend since im gonna install a box.

I don't watch Netflix, but I believe the seller tested and sent out a Netflix version that works with the box.

It is my belief that all android boxes should be able to run Netflix @480p ( I may be wrong).

But if you are into FULL HD Netlifx, then stick with Mibox-S  or Nvidia Shield as mentioned by others above this post.

ah yes I have Adrama installed too, not bad actually but need to use mouse to select the drama i want to watch which is a hassle because I don't have wireless mouse currently
