Hi guys, has been a DS Lite owner for more than 3 years.
Now, I am experiencing problems with my d-pad(arrow key). My left key is not functioning now, anyone experience this before?
I am taking my DS to shop for repair, but I want to know what's the price to repair it so that I won't be scammed by the shop.

How much is it?

oh gratz!!but this thread is like extinct..

i'm having trouble connecting my ds to my wi-fi (unifi). i'm guessing since it's an old DS (phat version) and it isn't compatible with the unifi router or something?

it's giving me error 51099

what's the security on the router? It should WEP tho. Try having no security locks on the router first and see if it works.

i think the unifi is WPA-PSK2 which is incompatible with NDSL

At the moment I'm probably going to get one for Xmas, though I may consider getting a Vita instead, haven't completely decided. So I cant speak for my own personal experiences, but I will say that Mario Kart 7 is likely to be really good, similiar in style to previous handheld Kart titles. And I'm always a big fan of the Harvest Moon games, and ToTT looks really sweet, so I don't think you would go wrong with those choices if you purchase a 3DS.

Thinking of getting NDS XL because of bigger screen ... but seems like stocks are very limited everywhere. Heard also it's easy to spoil and not easy to repair, is it true?

imo,it is not worth as 3ds price now is quite cheap and it has backward compatibility with ds game...

well... bigger screen but still is an old gen console... now 3ds is 3D screen...

Seriously, I don't know why would anyone buy an NDSi XL when you can get a 3DS at roughly the same price.

And bigger screen = pixelated graphics.

I plan to get a second hand DSi. Is there anything to look out for? And don't suggest 3DS, I only play Pokemon so a DSi is sufficient.

but now I think I might get a second hand DS lite instead. lol.

Guys, just here to ask whether is there any DS games seller at LYN?

My ds up and left directional button is kinda spoiled now. need to press harder. But still can use la,any idea what to change? How much does the repair cost ya?
