It's better if you think twice before purchasing a JP version, because as mentioned the language is all in japanese, firmware update will be jp version, DSi store will be in jp and it's region locked. However, if you just use it to play games, it won't be a problem if you can get other dsi and memorize the menu for settings and such and then us the JP version. @bose00, i am playing Warioware: Touched! which in turn to be the game that caught my attention to get the DS in the first place.
NDSXL is only out for the Jap market for the time being.

Hey guys.. just got myself NDSL today.. it is a Korean set. I noticed that the charger is rated 220V~60Hz. Is it ok to use it on our sockets? Isn't our mains operate on 50Hz??
I asked the guy at the shop.. he said ok to use it. Tested at the shop itself.. and showed the NDSL is charging. but I'm wondering if there'll be any problem in the long run?

I think it would be okay since the Malaysian power system for housing areas are capped around 240V.

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jan 6 2010, 03:36 PM) you have to buy the extra browser, because ndsl needs a ram cart to surf. So that means we can browse internet using NDSL, even in public locations or only with compatible routers? I am pretty confused about this issue as the people in low yat plaza kept telling me that NDSL cannot go on internet other than connecting two DS together.
