Nope, both my X (or rather my wife's X now) and 8 Plus battery performance is fine on 11.3 so far.

In terms of performance, yeah, nothing much differentiates the X from the 8 Plus, but in terms of looks, the X definitely looks better with a far sharper screen

Yup. Gonna get from taobao when I m shenzhen next month or so. But taobao very tricky. Need to filter out all those scammer that replacing original part with 3rd party. So better becareful. Not advisable for pipur who are not hw savvy.

Ok. Here is the thing with taobao. You can buy cheaper US set there. Just that you need to use sim unlock tiny PCB attached to your original nano sim. Then you can fooling the phone thinking the phone is actually still using US telco network.


This type of phone is easily cheaper by few hundred USD. And also this phone condition is quite good. Some are even brand new. This is a grey area where US ppl sign up the phone with contract but sold the phone the off to get the cash. And this phone is being sold to China for profits.

So you can also go to eBay to find sim unlock seller to officially unlock this phone so that you don't have to rely on that sim unlock PCB anymore.

Yeah, we do have US sets here in Malaysia with the turbo sim as well. But if it’s significantly cheaper in China then why not... just make sure don’t kena con with counterfeit units

Won't, they is software to install to check all the hw part it is original. It is easy to tell. Hahahahaha. Taobao got many sim PCB to choose. Turbo is just one of them. Haha. If the seller replaced the part. Can reject and ask for refund. If the seller stated no refund within the first few days. For obvious reasons you won't be buying from him. Too fishy.
