The funny thing is , in Iphone, it's called open in background.
Settings > safari > Open Links > in background.
When u open in background, the focus is on the page u t viewing. U will see a quick animation on a tab dropping into the bottom multi page icon.

The worst Apple keynote I ever watch since first iPod Touch keynote. Nothing impress me... ....

OMG! Truly wasting my time.
- High Sierra - is this a joke!
- iOS 11 - What!!! That it!
- iPad Pro 10.5 - the only seems ok announcement.
- HomePod - lol what is the next PodPod.

Let's just say ur expectations has "shifted" to the new camp. So many things will be bad.
But for me, I never bother with mid year wwdc. Always boring.
Only look forward to the iPhone keynote yearly.

You have got that right. Improvements are slow to come by right now. Dont expect to see huge improvements over something that is already working fine already.

Its a lot of under the hood stuff in iOS 11. I love it when reading the apple subreddit.

- Control center is customizable
-No longer need to wait for UI/animation finish before user interaction(this one annoy me so much that i am really excited for this one the most)
- Gifs are now playable in Photos app
- Storage optimizations by deleting unused apps but retains docs and data
- autofill on apps(like Android O)

Some other things that I forgot.

iOS update is the key to iPhone consideration. This year iOS 11 is the most nothing special I watch since first iOS till dated.

Actually what I want is customization. At least a themes support if only icon change only or dark themes is sufficient. Simply as that. Haha!

But frank speak this time iOS 11 is the worst I ever seen since first announcement of iPod Touch.

I guess it's mostly exciting for app developers & pro users. Things consumers will not instantly recognise as 'exciting'.

Yeah what happened to all the rumours about a widespread 'dark ios'? Then there's the fact that all the stuff about Apple Pay through iMessage and mall directories etc will never make it to msia any time soon in the near future sad.gif
Nothing worth writing home about imho. The only thing that got me excited was the new video and picture compression. That would really help those with only 32gb models

Customization is definately not one of the main features that Apple would like you to have on IOS. They would prefer to make you pay through your nose for each and every of their service if possible. Thats is why till now only are they are willing to come up with file explorer which is already available on every OS platform.

Subject to approval from BNM and need to nego with our local banks.

Given the state of contactless payment in Msia which is still at its infant stage, might take sometime before they actually venture in here.

Plus, i notice only selected stores accepts Visa paywave, a system which Apple Pay could utilize. Explains much i guess.

Phewww...finally got my iphone 7 iSight camera fixed at QCD at Times Square..5 stars for the services. Managed to get it fixed in 2 hours. Somehow nothing was wrong with the iSight camera but after it was opened, the guy saw that the camera flex cable ribbon was 'tercabut' from the motherboard..weird that could happened, probably due to manufacturing issue. 1 star for Machines KLCC @3rd Floor though for my prior trip to QCD, doesn't even bother to perform proper Analytics..doesn't even bother to check if I got any warranty left..just spew that they can receive my unit today but will have to wait until a week after raya to get it fixed. Claimed that the service centre where they will send my phone (in PJ) will close for Raya, 1 week before raya and open back 1 week after raya..that's not including waiting period for parts ordering..My feeling is that they probably had too much faulty units on their hand right now and tried to push away customer..

Samsung uses both MST and NFC technology, MST will be used when the terminal has no NFC capabilities, thus giving them advantage when compared to Android Pay and Apple Pay
