Samsung uses both MST and NFC technology, MST will be used when the terminal has no NFC capabilities, thus giving them advantage when compared to Android Pay and Apple Pay

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jun 6 2017, 10:29 AM) iOS update is the key to iPhone consideration. This year iOS 11 is the most nothing special I watch since first iOS till dated. QUOTE(Sole X @ Jun 6 2017, 11:31 AM) I guess it's mostly exciting for app developers & pro users. Things consumers will not instantly recognise as 'exciting'. Ya, that's exactly it. The keynote was for developers - so stuffs like Metal 2, HEIF and Machine Learning gets them all excited Oh well, on to the iPhone announcement in September then... |

QUOTE(cocooh @ Jun 7 2017, 09:00 AM) Subject to approval from BNM and need to nego with our local banks. Given the state of contactless payment in Msia which is still at its infant stage, might take sometime before they actually venture in here. Plus, i notice only selected stores accepts Visa paywave, a system which Apple Pay could utilize. Explains much i guess. QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jun 7 2017, 11:30 AM) Also, another point to note is that Apple doesn't really view Malaysia as a key market. We are a "nice to have". Our sales numbers for Apple products are insignificant, and not helped by the current state of our currency. |

Went to the store to test out s8+ and iphone 7+. S8+ look so damn nice especially the screen but im a long time android user and never tried ios so...i got the 7+. First impression using ios is everything is so much more polished damn. Apps and web browsing feels better. Not as fast as android but its just feel better somehow. I got really impatient setting it up though, almost felt like smashing the phone while doing the setup haha. Any good recommendation for glass protector?
