Can anyone suggest good clear case jet black?
Should i also get this jet black a clear coat skin? I know there may be issue on imprint at the back loss if taking out the skin..

I'm tend to have mobile outfitter, but now cant really decide. Or just use the clear case phone?

Opinion anyone especially those on jet black version.

Guy is it worth it to buy iphone 7+ now? Wanna buy new phone for me... still dont know what phone to buy

If you just need an iPhone and don't mind older model, can go for iPhone 6 cos they have promotion now. RM 1699 for 32gb. But it think it's only for the 6 model. Went to machines KLCC yesterday and saw big crowd there buying iphone 6.

Thanks to @andrewtst for the Elements Aura Case. The fit is damn nice! Also feels good to the hand (though it makes the phone more harder to operate with one hand)

Just got the Magpul Military Green iPhone 7 Plus case today! The fit is nice & though it feels a bit soft and wobbly at first, once put on the phone, it fits well.

Next on: Mous Limitless Case.

hi, currently an android user. i use my phone mostly in streaming videos, social media and web browsing. im thinking of switching over to ios but not sure if its better.
Just want some feedback in any of your experience. thanks smile.gif
*
My 2 cents : android is better if you are using apps other than found in Play Store to streaming videos. If you use mobile browser only, then there will be no issue as both platform is almost the same.

If you are used to snapping photo/video & instantly uploading into Instagram then forget that convenience in iOS. You have to manually go into Instagram every time to upload a photo. No shortcuts from the Photo app or from camera.

Also for notifications, I realized Android handles it much better than iOS due to grouping of notifications and no chance of missing any notifications. In iOS, there are possibility of the app not displaying or not providing notifications (at least from my own experience).

Again, this is from my own experience using Nexus and iPhone 7+. Though now I use iPhone as my primary phone due to its security & office requirement.

how come my IOS not givin me such issue...hmmm

It's just issue of grouping the notifications. That's all. You tend to get each WhatsApp message as separate notification.

Right now Only available on The US App Store, Not available in Malaysia App Store

If you still want it, you need to have a US apple ID which is just making one while the phone is set to US time and stuff haha
*
Don't think at the moment it will work well with iPhone. Given Siri is the default, it will only work as an app I think and won't be on always listening mode.

Damn I'm on to my 3rd iPhone 7 Plus already and still the touch id sucks. Works great for a couple of weeks then after that it won't be as accurate and sensitive anymore.
*
3rd? You had it repaired or you bought new one? Mine is also the same I guess. Sometimes, even when the screen is awake, the Touch ID doesn't unlock instantly on touch but I have press it to make it work. Sometime it will trigger Siri. Some of the time I have to keep it pressed and hope it will quickly unlock rather than double pressing it, which again, triggers Siri.

Had the same problem, mine improved when i deleted all my fingerprints, then register just one of my fingers to touch id, got better after that
*
Thanks for the tip. Will try it out later today. Hope this improves the recognition.

QUOTE(ace-user @ May 25 2017, 09:41 AM)
Yes this is my 3rd unit, I've gotten 2 replacement plus the first one so total I've used 3 iphone 7 plus already. All same issue, touch ID works great for first few weeks/ months, after a while it's not as sensitive anymore. A little bit of sweat on your finger then touch id will be completely useless, but first few weeks no matter how much sweat or dirt on your finger or the sensor, it will still work very well.
*
Hope mine doesn't turn out that way or get to that point. Though it feels frustrating having to press hard on the Touch ID some more it's not even a button. Perhaps that could be the reason? Because with iPhone 5S, I never faced problem like this.

mine too sometimes doest detect my fingers need to press hard. bangwall.gif

Could be due to iPhone now uses part of the glass as Touch ID rather than a dedicated button. Maybe.

7+ fingerprint scanner works for me 96/100 times.
Few times bcos hand sweaty.
*
Same here bro. It works for me but the extra effort to really push the Touch ID even when the screen is lit, kinda turn off.

One of the reason I gues android can't compete with iOS in terms of battery endurance, the always listening feature of android.

I'm still experimenting with the S8 - into my second week now, so I'll reserve my comments for later, but yes, loading apps on Android in general is less snappy than it is on the iPhone, regardless of hardware.

Anyways, my 7 Plus is now my secondary phone on standby most of the time. Check out the battery life:

[attachmentid=8851371]

And still 22% left biggrin.gif

Just reversed with my situation: I use iPhone for daily use due to the battery endurance & use Nexus 6P for entertainment cos easier to download + better stereo speakers.

And that ladies and gentlemen, is a 2,900 mAh battery done right smile.gif

Hands off, iPhone is a champion when it comes to standby time and usage time. One thing that it can DEFINITELY best Android.

Fingers crossed but if read speculations on reddit, it could be a rebranding of the iCloud Drive plus some new added features.

But I am still hoping and rooting for a real file management here.
*
They can't implement a real file manager coz it will provide loop holes for file copying i think. One thing I'd love to see them implement is grouped notifications & keyboard as powerful as Gboard.

Me too. Was bored with my 7 Plus so I bought the S8 last month to try and thought it would entertain me till the next iPhone comes about... Ended up listing the phone for sale yesterday.

Nowadays there is no longer "innovation" in the sense that users really need it to improve their phone use experience. What we get is features that are nice to have but nothing ground breaking in terms of user experience. That's why we get bored easily. In the end, all we need the phone is for surfing internet, calls & perhaps occasional sms.

Price wise also its getting ridiculously expensive.

for whatever it's limitation is, iphone offers the stability and software support that even Google cannot offer to it's own device (re:Nexus). for that, i think, it's worth the exorbitant price (though now you can own iphone 6 32GB for way lesser price).

In fact Google can't even guarantee updates for more than 2 years for their exorbitantly priced Pixel.

http://bgr.com/2017/04/28/google-pixel-and...date-android-p/

With iPhones we get at least 4 years if not mistaken.
*
With iphone 5, Apple supoorted it for 5 years (from 2012 until now at 10.3). So yeah, support wise Apple devices seems to be the right choice.

It's worse for OEM type android phones like Samsung or HTC where updates are very slow to roll-out and by the time it does receive one, another major update might already be rolled out.
